Is it just me, or are there small similarities to some old Blakes Seven running themes? Missing group member (Shaw / Blake) that could be dead or alive, some near misses in retrieving that person; abandoning the library to regroup from a less great location is akin to losing the Liberator and ending up with Scorpio, or losing Zen and "gaining" Slave. All we're missing is the shaky sets and dodgy clothes. Maybe that's why I enjoy it.
I think Servalan was a lot hotter than "Control" M.

Maybe. As I always watch a recording I've never paid much attention to the credits. I imagine it's not the only series I could make similar comparisons with.
I've just watched episode 1 of Season 5 of Person Of Interest and does share a similar theme to the opening episode of the final season of Blake's 7. You may well have a point. We watch it avidly - It's one of our favourite series.
I discovered it on a flight from somewhere (Dubai, perhaps?) and watched the first two episodes.
I liked it so much I bought the first series on DVD and the wife liked it too, so we picked it on C5 when they started showing series 2.
I really hope they show future series (however many that is) on C5 or some other TV channel I have access to, otherwise I'll get it/them in a box set.

Assume I'm not the only one watching Season 5?
They've still got some interesting ideas - see Ep.4 - and the intro/title sequence has been creative too with the way it gets tweaked.
Good that in the fifth season there is still scope for extra back-story and playing with the concepts. All a long way from the 'case of the week' they originally launched with.

If this wasn't the last series, now would be the time to stop watching. This is just disrespectful to the viewers, IMO.
Ep.10 - What the actual fk?! Do BMWs come with factory armour these days? Ten minutes of non-stop automatic fire and they just keep driving along? At this point even Schwarzenegger is sitting at home thinking 'guys... you've gone too far'. And what kind of 'secret' organisation would create this type of mess on public roads, shooting around civilians? FFS.
I know this show has been streching it from the beginning, but this is just ridiculous. To top it off - they just go and kill everyone towards the end. Come on... Oh, and of course they repeat the whole Elias routine 1:1 with 'the voice', as if just to let us know the writers are officially done giving a st.
We'll see how it goes on, but for now looks like a very sloppy way to end things.

It was ridiculous ! Though we have to consider it may not be real but still a delusion of one of the more dangerous characters...Ep.10 - What the actual fk?! So that's it - it finished yesterday.
Epic !
I doubt any UK station will bother to screen the last season, such is their disdain for brilliant television so it's box sets or watch CBS.
The most recent response, that I found on a UK fan site page in late May, was that C5 had replied to one of the site users saying that there were currently no plans in place to secure the rights to broadcast S5.Epic !

I also emailed them in May and got a similar response but with the addition that the decision may change later in 2016 dependent on their seasonal broadcasting plans for Spring 2017. However poor viewing figures of seasons 3 & 4 may have an effect on any decision.
Ironically, if it did have poor viewing figures, then I'd guess they were caused by the show being broadcast in the slot it was usually after 11pm or midnight.

I think that's exactly it - What a ridiculous time to put it on plus an edited version is shown on 5 USA around lunchtime !I genuinely think that the quality of the show is an embarrassment to the dross that most of the homegrown stuff is.

The Treatment of the Various US series C5 has has been risible. Castle was the first casualty Bumped to 5USA before the run on C5 where it understandably did not pick up the ratings as we'd already seen it! NCIS:LA seems to bounce around and Their treatment of Teen Wolf is awful. 8 unless they have an episode of ""When Chavs" Place you choice of words here" is on when it disappears to early morning. Only NCIS and NOLA seem to be able to ride the storm. Lets face it 5, the only decent reality series you have is "The Yorkshire Vet".
