Capital I think, he was huge at the time.
True, over a decade ago. I didn't listen to him at the time - was far too busy at work.
My mum used to make me listen to him on the way to school, he was too cheesy for me even back then hehe

I heard him mention it but also missed it.

I have tuned into Radio X for Moyles and realise I quite like it,with the mostly chatty stuff with a little music.

Comedy Dave was never likely to return seeing as CM had a thing with Mrs Vittee, didn't like him anyway.

If I remember correctly, didn't Moyles used to take the piss/slag off Johnny Vaughn when CM was on Radio 1 and

JV was doing breakfast on Capital ?

Now they're bosom buddy colleagues.

Just because they are work colleagues it doesn't mean they are now bosom buddies.

Though knowing how Chris's radio persona is quite different to how he really is, who knows the truth of their relationship!

I think the novelty has worn off a bit already. He only seems to talk about what TV he has watched - and one Netflix show in particular he is promoting!

I'm enjoying Johnny Vaughan though - not listened to him on the Radio before.

They had to promote it due to the competition they were running. He always did discuss favourite series. 24 used to get discussed a lot iirc!

Elijah Wood and Shaun Ryder were brilliant interviews smile

Unfortunately for me Radio X might have run its course.
Ive enjoyed having Moyles back, and Johnny Vaughn is great at 4pm, but I cant handle the music/advert repetition.

I'm the other way, not really enjoying Moyles, but the station as a whole is pretty good.

As I posted earlier, I'm not a grunge type music listener, but I'm quite enjoying a change.

Ditto the adverts, not much you can do about it and it's better than local radio adverts.

+1. Considering going back to Spotify. Just renewed my Spotify subscription.
I've even tried listening again online which always resets itself and starts again after 15-20mins, seems to have no toggle function.

This morning was interesting - I'm sure I can't be the only one who thought Rob DJ was still a bit "merry" from last night? smile

Not a fan of the changeover from XFM to Radio Moyles X. The only non-negative thing is that Phil Clifton still has a show. I don't listen in the morning so can't comment on Moyles, but with the amount of snippets they play of his show throughout the day, I don't think I need to. Also, Johnny Vaughan is absolutely unbearable. He's possibly the unfunniest person I've ever heard in my life. Doesn't help that his crack squad of brown-nosing co-presenters/producers laugh along at every single one of his cringeworthy monologues. I feel so much second-hand embarrassment listening to them.

I like Radio X, but I'm more than fed up with them going on about Chris Moyles on every show. It's very annoying with all the plugs.

I tuned into Moyles a couple of times and gave up. All he talked about was the BBC and his show was exactly as he did years ago. Old before it started.
