Every episode on iPlayer from this weekend.
Brilliant news - thank you!

Hopefully that will get me through Christmas... smile
Or at least give some ideas as to how best to dispatch Auntie Ethel.

Whilst on my social distancing I have decided to watch the entire 34 episodes I bought on DVD when my local HMV closed. I will be watching them in chronological order.

Range rover Evoque
Imigrants on the island

Cell phone records on towers

But he still has his st box Tipo and they must be the only Police force in Europe who dont have any computers laugh

Still the scenery is nice as usual thumbup

He's lost a lot of height though. The young Montalbano was taller than most of his colleagues.

An Italian policeman's salary doesn't stretch to platform shoes these days. Plus he has the Tipo to keep on the road.

Thoroughly enjoyed Saturday's episode.

I love the slow pace of it, at times it's even more glacial than Inspector Morse and just seems to flow. The backdrop is frequently stunning, even the crap parts of 'Vigata' look good!

I assume that Montalbano is as realistic a portrayal of Sicilian life as Midsomer Murders is about England, but they do manage to make living in a stone hovel seem an appealing lifestyle.

Well put! A bonus in this first new episode was the beautiful little Alfa Giulietta Spider, what a gem of a car cloud9

I enjoyed this hugely too .
I don't know how many suspects they got through until they found the murderer , caught doing a dirty deed , naked !

And the side story of the thief chap ,caught the in laws shagging......10/10.

I know what you mean - and they have featured in previous episodes, but Sicily has been the Piccadilly of the Med since the dawn of history,
even the Normans dropped by!

BTW Another one this Saturday (17/10) thumbup

Caught up with the latest episode last night.

Good to see the coppers using an Alfa Guilietta instead of the SEAT Leons they had in the previous series.
