Depends on what level you care.
You should care that children are being insidiously brainwashed with a particular ideology.
It isn't the BBC's job to decide what is and isn't socially acceptable, or what social values should be.
It has overstepped the mark, repeatedly, from reflecting society, to moulding society.
You really are a complete dick. You should care that children are being insidiously brainwashed with a particular ideology.

The Bond thing has thrown up some oddities recently
The Aston in Skyfall being the same one from the 60s
I would write an explanation that enabled the time periods to be reconciled but fan fiction isn't welcomed or as well recognised in the Bond hemisphere as it is in the Whooniverse.
Personally I find some of the Bond societies to be a bit nerdy and full of obsessed types. Not like the Whooniverse people I have encountered
MooreBond lays flowers on his wife's grave - but she was married to LazenbyBond. The Aston in Skyfall being the same one from the 60s

CraigBond wins the Aston Martin in a bet - but that car was provided to ConneryBond.
So the 'JB as code name' device doesn't work any better than continuity does.
However I am now watching the box set of Colin Bakers Trial Of A Timelord and I've noticed some discrepancies that need addressing

I am not sure the won Aston is the same one as in Skyfall
It never even occurred to me that it might be the same one, any more than the one I saw on Monday broken down by the roadside heading up to Reading. I thought Skyfall was a bit pants in that respect. It muddied the waters enormously, I felt, as up until then Daniel Craig's Bond was meant to be a reboot. I just saw it as clumsy fanservice. In fact the whole thing was a continuity mess.
Anyway, discussion of Bond is rather off topic in this thread as it isn't even a valid analogy to Doctor Who inasmuch as the latter is the only series that explains actor changes with Regeneration. It was a masterstroke.

I admire your commitment to the Whoovian oeuvre. They were real you know no implants even Brian Blesseds impressed
You can see the emotion Colin baker brings to the role

If you want to play the realism card, James Bond is a functioning alcoholic who would have been kicked out of the security services a long time ago, wouldn't that make for a great film?
Plus the Scottish thing is a retcon after Fleming warmed to Connery. It would make pish all difference if Bond was black, and be inkeeping with the credo of constantly retconning him according to time and circumstance.edit, I also like the codename theory, which George hints at in OHMSS
On the incarnation of the Doc...isn't it meant to be over 13 due to that bullst story that Tennent morphed into Tennent (something about a hand?)? I admit to have stopped watching after the last good one, the manc left because it all turned to ste after that...plus I only watch Baker in Gold thsedays.

I don't believe in quotas or any of that malarkey.
But this just doesn't bother me like it bothers you - and I don't understand why it does to be honest.
Anyway - I'm off to watch gardnera world - apparently Monty Don gets off with one of the dogs!
Oh no.....he isn't
Never mind. Alex Jones is motorboating someone on the one show.....oh no
At least gay Poldark will have something for me to......nothing there either
How can that be - it's on nearly all to shows
At least Mary Berry gets her kit off in Bake off eh?
Or maybe it's just your absurd sense of outrage over nothing fuelling your imagination Over nothing

Patrick Troughton didn't have a problem with it, and he was the first regenerated Doctor

Why does stating something that should be obvious to most make someone a complete dick?
