The Equaliser
Denzil Washington, mild mannered, death dealing B&Q worker, kills lots of baddies.
7.7/12
Ozark
Properly enjoying this.

Red: Werewolf Hunter. Don't bother, poor, poor, poor (in addition to the worst CGI werewolves I've ever seen)

Archer S8 is on Netflix

Haven't been on for a while so it might not be recent news.

Only 2 episodes through and seems like a slow burn but hopefully improves. Doing 30's/40's thing this time

Archer S8 remains quite consistent all the way through. Though actually, I found the finale a little disappointing.

Hmm I found s7 a little disappointing too, especially at the end. Shame, it used to be one of my favourite shows

I thought everything up until about season 4/5 was exceptional, after that, just very good.

I know a little about O&G but found parts astonishing- especially the low death count despite the carnage.
I watched it on a cheap bootleg a while back but might re-watch it soon. 23 years offshore and I never got to work on a rig, only oil survey and maintenance ships.

Friend of mine who does work on rigs says safety has come a long, long way since, and because of, the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Much like Piper Alpha changed the whole face of safety offshore some 30+ years ago.

I actually enjoyed the film a lot.

'Discount Matt Damon' films are usually a bit hit and miss but I thought it was good.

Shadow Hunters. What a load of arse. Basically a modern version of Buffy but far less interesting.

Not that discount - Wahlberg is worth over $250 million while Damon is scraping by with only $160 million

Just over half way through Gypsy. Anyone else watched this? I still can't decide whether or not I like it

You can't use that at a valid barometer of acting talent. Adam Sandler is worth 340 million.

I finished Ozark. Brilliant viewing. It's like a Breaking bad / Bloodline hybrid.

I tried Ozark and enjoyed the second half of the first episode but found episode 2 a bit crap in all honesty. Will give ep 3 a try but could be sacking it off if it doesn't pick up.

Will try Deepwater Horizon if I get spare time tonight.
