I know a little about O&G but found parts astonishing- especially the low death count despite the carnage.
I watched it on a cheap bootleg a while back but might re-watch it soon. 23 years offshore and I never got to work on a rig, only oil survey and maintenance ships.I know a little about O&G but found parts astonishing- especially the low death count despite the carnage.
Friend of mine who does work on rigs says safety has come a long, long way since, and because of, the Deepwater Horizon disaster. Much like Piper Alpha changed the whole face of safety offshore some 30+ years ago.

'Discount Matt Damon' films are usually a bit hit and miss but I thought it was good.
