The Good Place..

A light comedy about where a woman ends up after dying - some laugh out loud moments- one really annoying character but other than that some easy viewing that I am quite enjoying..
Can't believe I missed this one. Home sick today and blitzed the lot. Very upset to find only 2 episodes of series 2 so far though.

Gerald's Game

Pretty engaging thriller, whereby a couple go to a family owned forest retreat to reinvigorate their marriage.... handcuffs and Viagra etc...
So that description might get you thinking this is cashing in on 50 Shades.
It isn't.
Things do NOT go to plan and we enter a journey of suppressed memories and mild horror...quite promptly too

Well acted, some decent tension, kept me awake.

7.6/10

I watched pretty much all of those when they first came out. Very interesting characters and some bloody dangerous recoveries.
I spoke too soon, the current episode has the kid Brendan refusing to work, and the whole crew go bowling.......

Here we go, turning into another Orange County Choppers driveldrama. frownfrownfrown

Watched this. Not as good as the old storm chasers from a few years back.

I've watched most of the first one. Not greatly entertained so far. Does it get better?

I watched this a few nights again, very funny, and Kristen Bell is wonderfully captivating. yum

Not gone past episode 1. Bit too much angst and other stuff to be funny. You think it is getting there then they overdo the punch line and that monster turns up.

Isn’t this already out as a movie, a good few years ago? Or am I thinking of a different cabin and handcuffs?

I've stuck with it as far as ep 9 and I have laughed out loud a few times at this one. Think you either like it or you don't though.

The makers claim it's ideal family watching if you have teenagers eek

Really easy and at time funny watch. I have to say I have become a bit of a Ted Danson fan over the years.

For the Gomorrah fans ...

Saburra - Blood in Rome just started on Netflix

Have watched the first 3 episodes and so far am very impressed.

Does not have quite the subtlety of Gomorrah and the pace is much quicker but nonetheless the production values are high..

So far so good..

I’ve just finished watching seasons 1 of Gypsy. It’s a shame Netflix have just cancelled it, I thought it was great. Plus Naomi Watts is smokin’

No, that was the one where he was captured after a car crash, and the nutter woman healed him, repeatedly....

Stag
Never saw this on the BBC...
A stag do in Scotland goes very very wrong.
The most British and blackest of British black comedy.
in a similar vain to the film "Sightseers"...ish
3 parts, easily consumed... worth your time imo.

I started Stag, but it seemed too much like slap stick comedy, and I could not get to grips with it, found it annoying if anything at times.
