I know what it's like to want to like a programme but be unable to get past one of the main characters. I couldn't watch Star Trek Discovery for that reason.
which one did you not like?
The one with the silly name (character and actress).

Great show, and being a limited series you get the whole story in one season rather than being left waiting.

Happy!
Finished the series and really enjoyed it.
I'm hoping theirs a second series's.
We watched the first and got completely hooked - it's properly bonkers but the acting by the lead is perfectly cast which just makes it.

Have only watched the second but it's our new nightly show!
It's good right through to the end, maybe even gets better.
I wanted to like this I really did. I couldn’t stand that stupid animated unicorn. I’m out.
I'm on episode 5 and loving every minute. Great script and characters and genuinely shocking at times (in a good way). Can understand the difficulty with the premise for some but I took to it very quickly. Definitely not one for everyone though.

Everything else I was good with. If the unicorn hadn’t been animated, say something akin to https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilfred_(Australia... I’d have loved it.

Password stored in my head and pretty unguessable!!

Fek knows. I'm on the phone to the now.

They've logged in to my account, upgraded the plan, set up several profiles and changed the language to Spanish. All from somewhere in Mexico.

Using a Hotmail account?? Weird.
Do you use the same email & password for other websites ? Check https://haveibeenpwned.com

It took me two password resets to random passwords to clear out a foreign user.... I think it takes a while to invalidate devices.

I thought that. I thought it looked like a good gritty ex-cop turned vigilante/hitman type thing, then that stupid flying unicorn turned up and I thought "Well, that's ruined it"

Stuck out the rest of the episode, and loved it. Think I've got 2 episodes left. It's been great.
This. I'd urge Gretchen to stick at it. The innocent unicorn isn't quite so innocent.

I get that. It’s literally the animation. I’d rather the unicorn were a man in a unicorn suit. Or just an invisible figment. Mixing cartoon and live action doesn’t work for me.

Have you seen the thing with Elijah Wood and the dog?
I posted this above

Off the back of this post I watched it, completed it over 2 nights and thought it was excellent. Genuine dissapointment when I didnt have the option to watch the next show in the bottom right corner. Really hope there is a season 2 (Totally overlooked that Happy! is Patton Oswalt).

Anyone else watching fastest car?

seen the first 4 episodes now and its quite interesting for petrol heads, 3 'sleepers' race against a supercar in each episode with what sounds like a huge race at the end of the series at a dry lake bed in California.

Its rather light on technical info so you never learn the bhp of every car or what the 1/4 mile times are and some of the so called sleepers are more like hot rods, but every person entering a sleeper is a massive car enthusiast who have spent years building cars for the 1/4 mile. The supercar owners can be quite interesting...

I've seen the first couple and enjoyed them, the sleepers are quite a way from sleepers but that's the yanks for you.

The disabled guys in episode one are great.

Finished watching this and really enjoyed it, would have liked more though.

Also for those that have finished already:

Cant believe they killed Whitey so easily at the big fight! Even though it was quite funny... hehe

I quite enjoyed this too, the divorce lawyer with the lambo was very cringey though...

Glad he lost, no idea what he was thinking when he took off like that so early! Would have been better if he had actually raced and lost properly though

Finished Unfortunate Events with my daughter. Very good.

Is there anything else that we could watch? She's ten for reference.

Although i've had Netflix for years i rarely bother to go on there so i haven't read much of this thread.

I did however watch the rather excellent Precinct seven five about corrupt NYPD cops1980s and early '90s.

Bloody good it is.
