Unlocked.
Noomi Rapace in another London-based spy thriller. Really good for the details. Micheal Douglas and Toni Collette turn up too!
No novelty whatsoever, but just done really well...
Watched this last night - good solid film, much better than Closed Circuit IMO.Noomi Rapace in another London-based spy thriller. Really good for the details. Micheal Douglas and Toni Collette turn up too!

No frills, but well paced, with a solid storyline and capable actors.

Unlocked was really good. But my subtitles wouldn't come in for the Arabic bits automatically. Had to manually out them on but then they are always on.
Just seen making a murderer part 2 is released 19th October.
Hadn't heard about the making a murderer part 2, that should be interesting if its anything like the first.Just seen making a murderer part 2 is released 19th October.

Glitch. Really really good. Proper top quality drama.
Australian drama which starts out with a police officer discovering some people who've crawled out of their graves in a country town cemetery. That's the same basic synopsis that Netflix gives and it goes nowhere close to selling the show.
Well filmed, rounded characters, tightly plotted and very subtly builds as it goes. Lots of details in the story to reward the observant, to the point it's worth watching twice to spot things you didn't appreciate the first time. Nothing is obvious and the story builds carefully with many threads that take time to unwind.
Two series so far, 6 hour long episodes in each. Lots of content so feels like more than that but it's never rushed. Third series filming now.
Cannot recommend it enough, a real hidden gem.

Maniac
just can't enjoy/watch it, yes looks great and seems to have just enough to get social media going but seems like it is trying too hard to be something it isn't. slow tedious, over hyped and st. 10 episodes can't do one
2/10

Agree with this - really wanted to like it. Love everything else with Jo. Hill in.. although he doesn’t seem to fit his face anymore...just can't enjoy/watch it, yes looks great and seems to have just enough to get social media going but seems like it is trying too hard to be something it isn't. slow tedious, over hyped and st. 10 episodes can't do one

And the from Osark was great too - but this just didn’t click with me.
The London Spy, however...
Really got unexpectedly caught up in that!!
