Some strange film, made by a French person of a Spanish book with British actors.
Antarctic island with deep sea monsters, interspecies shagging, blood guts and gore.
Very odd.
Not terrible.
Not good.
Set in 1914.
ETA called Cold Skin.

Just finished El Chapo. Brutal!

Couple questions for anyone who’s seen it!

S2 Ep4, who were the two guys that got killed at the start of the episode after they signed the paperwork?

The ex SF team leader with slick back hair (El Uno??) what happened to him? He wasn’t in S3 at all?

TRUTH

Film, Redford, Blanchet. Based on the true story of '60 minutes' 2004

If you like flicks like 'All the President's Men', it's in that ball park (though nowhere near as good). Still, worth a watch.

Finished watching Deadwind last night and there are definitely similarities to The Killing and The Bridge. Out of all the Scandinavian dramas I thought this was one of the better ones.

Me too, posted about it a few pages back. The moment where Darius said that line to Harris was just brilliant. I hadn’t even considered that possibility and it made you think about things that had happened the whole series. Brilliant.

I'm trawling through the second season of Glitch. Lots of maybes, is-she-isn't-she type stuff that I really couldn't care less about. Most of the characters are bland, uninspired and predictable. The storyline seems semi-interesting at least so I'll probably see it through to the end of this series but if there's any more I'm giving them a miss.

They should have cast the actor playing Paddy as the main character - it'd be a whole lot more entertaining.

Having re watched parts of that episode i am fairly certain you dont actually find out who they are as that is one of a few incidents within the first 20 minutes that highlight how brutal and violent that cartel are , they are forced to sign over either a ranch or business to the Emes cartel. The man who pulls the trigger is a regional boss of Emes ultimately works under El Cano

The bloke who played El Uno had a fight with the bloke who played Chapo's bodyguard during filming, seems he the easiest to get rid of

Watched ‘Terminal’ last night. Have never heard of it before, but saw the cast list:

Margot Robbie, Simon Pegg, Mike Myers, Dexter Fletcher.

Got to be good, right?

Terrible. Absolute arse. Don’t waste your bloody time.

Great bank robber movie. Can`t get over how much Ice Cube Jr looks like his old man.

Just finished season 2 of Ozark, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good story, good character development, dark theme running through ugh it and how it’s been filmed adds to the story.

Particularly enjoyed all the female lead characters, they are ruthless and bad as the guys (if not worse really)

Only adverse thing is the lead actor Jason Bateman, pauses too long every time he is asked a question before answering it. It’s become irritating!

Looking forward to season 3 though!

yes That did irritate me as well, but overall really enjoyed the series so far.
