Seen that Gotti is now on Netflix, It should have been a really good film given the subject but the critics have completely slammed it which is a shame.

I'll give it a whirl shortly and report back.

Operation Odessa was a good recommendation if you like Bio's about drugs, hookers and cash. I can't imagine the fun those guys had biggrin

I wanted to see it but the ratings are sub zero and when Travolta misses he can be bloody awful

Ignore the reviews if you like gangster / mobster things. It isn't going to win any Oscars but I found it decent enough in a Making of The Mob kind of way.

I think the voice dubbing really let this down and detracted from what was probably quite good originally (review ratings seem quite good)
I've noticed this on some shows too, I've found reverting to subtitles much better. Dark is another than springs to mind, that suffered when using an English dub.

We always watch in original language with subs if we can, annoyingly Netflix doesn't seem to remember this preference between different shows

it ain't no sopranos or goodfellas, but not zero rated, worth a watch just for the big T hamming it up.

6 hits out of 10

My first ever proper binge watch. Couldn't believe the despair/rage I felt when we got to the end of series 2 and there wasn't any more instantly available!

It's not the greatest in it's Genre. The HBO Armand Assante one is much and I mean MUCH better.

Is that the one with the gangster from Enemy Of The State? I vaguely remember watching it when I was at uni.

Pass. I've seen EOTS a few times but mind has gone blank now. The HBO Gotti has big Pussy and Pauli Walnuts in it. It's on Youtube. A very good show. I'd probably say it's one of my favourite Mob films.

Anyone watching Love, Death + Robots?

The standard of animation is pretty incredible - I’m from the generation of thunder cats and he-man. I was genuinely blown away by the way these looked.

I’m only 6 in but they’re very watchable, it very sweaty, violent and dark.
Yep, They are very good. The first one was graphic gore and the second one is almost porn! Both are quite interesting. They are kind of like Black Mirror but in Animation.
The first one - monster fighting lesbian love-kill looked the best so far but I enjoyed the one in the freezer and the one with the cats and robots.

I’ll grt through some more later.
That first episode was written by Peter F Hamilton. HIs books are quite amazing. That episode was easily my favourite.

Amazing series though.
I'm also up to about no.6. Pretty good overall, most of the animation is very impressive.

Erect Penis...never thought I'd see that in a cartoon on Netflix.
