Japanese language zombie action

Looks beautiful, the zombies are very convincing and the story is better than most zombie series. 4 in, and I’m really enjoying it!

7/10
yes

Saw it when it was first released to Netflix, fantastic big budget series and completely original. a mixture of The Walking Dead meets Games of Thrones set in the Far East several thousand years ago

I have seen all of Love, Death & Robots now. Some episodes are better than others, but overall I thought it was very, very good. Sonnie's Edge, Beyond the Aquila Rift and The Secret War were my favorite ones I think.

Our 4 year old isn’t allowed to watch that. It’s a bit fighty. He needs no encouragement.

Our two enjoy it (9 & 4). I find it very silly but it does still make me laugh.

Me too. Had a binge this evening, skipped the manga style ones.
Absolutely stunning (mostly).

The OA part 2
Is it better than 1?

I liked OA initially then it went downhill at the end for me with the dancing etc
Feel's like they got a completely new team in to do the second series. Completely different vibe (slightly Stranger Things at times), much higher production values and generally feels more coherent. IMdB seems to agree with way higher ratings than series one. In fact all the episodes from Series two are getting 9s!
Once someone has watched every single minute of it, can you report back please?

Bitterly disappointed by the first one, given we somewhat patiently enjoyed the first three quarters of it! smile
That would be me.

I liked first one because it was so random. I think I preferred one to two which I did finish last night. Only 8 episodes.

Based on the posts in this thread I too watched these over the weekend and really enjoyed them.

Can anyone tell me if The OA gets any better? I've just watched Series 1 episode 1 and it's as dull as ditchwater. Please tell me it perks up.

Not really. It's intriguing, but ultimately unsatisfying.

I've just found a good old fashioned UK comedy series called The Job Lot. Never see it when it was on TV. Set in a job centre and it's full of innuendo and is very funny. Nice easy way to spend 25 minutes

Just started on S4 of Line of Duty.

I have really enjoyed Line of Duty up to now but it's jarring in this season how utterly terrible the acting is. It's like they are doing a pre-read of the script wearing their costumes for the show! Or been given one take and that's your lot.

I'll keep going because it's intriguing.

Step. Away. From. The. OA.

Honestly I consider it a worse resolution than 'Lost'.
