I recently watched The Fall which was pretty good, if only 5 episodes...A good crime drama set in Ireland, with Gillian Anderson. saw it on Mexico region, not sure if it's on the other regions or not...

Definitely House of Cards if you've not seen it. Just finished S2 and it's great smile

Also can recommend The Good Wife. A lot better than it's title makes you think biggrin

Mesrine parts 1 and 2...french films, 2008, subtitled, staring Vincent Cassel as the 1970's gangster... really enjoyed both films. Also starred the bad guy from Quantum of Solace.

The Words, was a good'un too, although I had to do some reading up on it afterwards to really understand it... it's a story within a story within a story... Dennis Quaid, Bradley Cooper and Jeremy irons...
Guys finds a manuscript and passes it off as his own = quandry city.

I watched a very early Will Ferrell film called "A Night at the Roxbury" - found it hilarious - think it flopped when released but has since become a cult film. Cast includes a very nice, young Stifflers mum.

I didn't expect to enjoy this as much as I did.

Lilyhammer was great. It's a funny concept, with the main character speaking in English but understanding Norwegian, and others speaking in Norwegian. Van Zandt is priceless.

Just finished series 2 of House of Cards and can't wait for the next series.

Don't know what to watch next.

Does anyone else find the menu system on Netflix very odd? Sometimes it offers a range of stuff in different genres, but other times it just offers stuff similar to movies/series that I've watched. Also, they don't seem to have been uploading much new material recently, so it's time to have a look at the US site again.

The dialogue is brilliant, isn't it? Great show. Hopefully they will make a 3rd series. I think we started series 2 on a friday evening and were finished by sunday morning...!

Cracking dialogue and great characters; e.g. the totally inappropriate NAV worker Jan Johansen is great value.

3rd series has already started filming apparently. biglaugh

Started watching the first season of 'Legit' last night on US Netflix. A 'sitcom' written by and starring Australian comedian Jim Jefferies. Anyone who has seen Jim live will know how un-PC he is, and this is just the same. Really funny and some of it based on the stories he talks about in his live shows. First episode, taking his quadriplegic mate to a brothel. Can't wait to see the rest now...

Seen him a few times now, and this is just the same humour, although toned down a bit obviously, and less C words smile
