Netflix has added Bladerunner 2049 today, that had totally dropped off my radar so it'll be good to finally see it!

Ok, Shooter sounds promising, I liked the film but assume this dosent follow / mirror it ?

Tried the Unabomber one, only 1 series so really didnt get into it, plus found it a bit slow

No thoughts on House of Cards ?

Wasnt that Abducted in Plain site a topic of conversation quite a few pages back ? Something about a old bloke been wked off by a kid or some such nonsense, sure it was something along them lines ?

House of Cards is decent until Kevin Spacey leaves (got the boot).

AIPS - it's a jaw dropper biggrin

The premise is very similar - based on the same novels.
This goes deeper and there’s more story to it.
It’s not hard going or difficult to follow - just good fun.

Is Ron Jeremy restoring cars on Netflix? Rust Valley Restorers.

Looks like, and he’s brought Dee Snider from Twisted Sister to give him a hand.

Just finished S2 of 'Dark'. Absolute confirmation that 'Dark' for me, is the best series I've watched. Period. Perfectly knits a series of threads and characters into a complex, interwoven tapestry. Extremely clever and rewarding.

That said, unlike other series, it isn't an automatic recommendation because it requires a degree of commitment (especially S1, which felt like 'One Hundred Years of Solitude' with the characters across different time periods), but one that rewards such commitment in spades.

Reached bit of stalemate with Netflix so need some recommendations, Police / FBI / CIA / terrorist type of stuff

Finished last night Mindhunter, which followed on from the entire Homeland series, which followed Luther and Line of Duty. Enjoyed them all.

Prefer to binge watch so like a few series to get into. Browsing last night and only saw House of cards which looked ok (but looked a bit too political ?), any good ?

Im a bit weird and wont watch anything that is currently the "in" thing to watch, Stranger Things etc.

Any recommendations ?

Thanks
Some good ones in case you missed them:

Making a murderer
Abducted in plain sight
Evil genius

All very good imo, some pretty weird bits in some of them though, especially abducted in plain sight...
Would also add Killer Ratings to that list, compelling & brutal viewing

Watched a couple of episodes last night and it was okay.... unfortunately seems to go the way of many of these sorts of programs and be about the personalities rather than the work being done to the cars.

I’m enjoying Wu Assasins. It’s a bit silly and the acting is poor a lot of time, but it’s a lot of fun and the fight sequences are brilliant.

I watched the first two, and yeah it's a cookie cutter of the same old. All about the dollar, which is a shame because it could've been so much more.

Watched Dave Chapelle - Sticks ad Stones last night to see what all the fuss on Twitter was about - very funny. Manages to cover just about every contentious subject in America (Cancel Culture, School Shootings, MJ, Abortion, LGBT, etc) whilst simultaneously offending just about everyone.

Only an hour but if you're a fan of Ricky Gervais / South Park / Frankie Boyle then definitely worth a watch.
