Just watched Deadwater Fell

1/10. Thin plot no decent twists and no surprises. Awful series.

Wasn't that on Channel 4 rather than Netflix?

And an unusual Spanish film:

The Bar.

9/10. This is a MUST WATCH !!!!

Completely ‘WTF’ hooked by the plot in the first 10 mins.

It’s very slightly ‘odd’ at times as it’s Spanish dark humour but carries it off well.

I wish they’d make a third series.

If you don't mind Spanish films then I can recommend "The Invisible Guest" which I saw around 2 weeks ago on Netflix....really, really enjoyed it.

It was beyond dreadful. 1/10 is far too generous.

Almost no plot. Literally zilch. No other possible culprits, no twists, double turns. Awful.

Agreed. Utter tosh.

White House Farm (so similar it's confusing) is much better - and based in truth, not ramblings of a TV writer.

I’ve been watching The Stranger - was this shown on British TV?

Got really into it!

I quite like White House Farm, but they really are dragging it out - could easily have fitted into three episodes rather than 6

More than likely come up before, but I'm enjoying 'The Spy', Sacha Baron Cohen as an Israeli spy in Syria in the 60's

I’m watching both of these, though missed Friday’s Deadwater Fell so will watch tomorrow.

Enjoying Whitehouse Farm. The murders occurred on a significant birthday for me and I can recall the media coverage. One of those cases I’ve followed over the years and I’m still undecided whether Jeremy is actually innocent or guilty.

I wouldn’t bother with Deadwater Fell. I can’t understand why it’s had such good critic review when it’s literally a total waste of time.
