That Bentley guy - is his hair real or is it a piece of painted cardboard ?
I'm watching it now.
Some strange? people on this show. The woman with the jewellery and the big lips....34!!!!!! She must have had a big paper round
I thought the same - 34? Yeah right.......plus another 6........

Somehow her lifestyle and car (and her daughter's horse) made me think 3.14.

Rodrigo! biggrin . Loved his 1970s driving gloves - so necessary for a driving lesson in a base Corsa. He seems curiously out of breath just carrying an empty suitcase. That implanted 6-pack has probably reduced his lung capacity.

Haha, I'm interested to see what car he gets bearing mind he's taking his lessons. He said he's hoping to get the car he wants for 60k.

He needs a good tailor. I know tight-fitting clothes are fashionable for younger men at thge moment, but it looked like he got his from the kids department.

That motorbike guy was a dreamer. He admitted those bikes normally retail for £107k and then expected to be loaned £70k against one of them. He claimed at the end "they've only offered me a fraction". It's a bloody big fraction, mate! (James can't have been doing more than 50mph on his Silverstone test run - I know it was damp but surely they put the right tyres on? I suppose he didn't want to damage it, but that was a bit wussy).

It surprised me as well. I thought maybe she was in for a disappointment, but I obviously didn't understand what it represented. After all, they were just pencil autographs which had etched themselves into the soft wood of the guitar body. Some of them must have dated from when he was Shane Fenton and he would have been pretty much a nobody to people like Buddy Holly.

I didn't realise he'd got divorced from Liza Goddard - I was expecting to see her again. Top totty.

A new series starts this evening at 7 o'clock.

Lawrence Pickett's knowledge of cars is put to the test when James gets his hands on an E-type worth more than £100,000. Plus Claudia values an impulse buy.

What has happened to the E-type? The Austin A30/35 van is all well and good but is not what I tuned in for!

ETA: Looks like the Jag is on next week.

I watched it yesterday.

Absolutely appalling. I don't believe a word anyone said.

Fascinating, I mustn't miss it.

I didn't realise that there were so many stupid ego-maniacs walking the streets.

That's my take on it, I find it all so contrived now but end up watching it week in week out rolleyes
I mean, the guy that 'needed' a £6k loan ? Clearly just wanted to get on telly and also advertise his new hotel.

And who the fook can afford to spend £12.5k on a handbag but then plead being skint when it comes to helping out with your kids uni fees ? Wish I could afford to retire at 49, she didn't seem to be that hard up just yet.

The scriptwriting is appalling. James is so wooden it's embarrassing - I've had a look at all the MOTs and I can manage to lend you £6k. WTF? It's just all so formulaic now but like you lot I can't stop watching. Maybe it's just to snigger at the halfwits and dreamers who connive to get on the show.

I think that must have been the reason it took me so long to realise it was a repeat.
