I think a lot more bits of book are starting to make it in?

Pretty sure I remember the guy in the truck going in the sea from the books - that was a pretty nasty and creative way of getting revenge...

The latest ep, wow. I felt genuinely sad. This show is just getting better.

UK showing starts in August apparently on Watch/W Channel.

I'm watching it on FX (US showings).

Episode 4 was a strange one! Ended very well!

I haven't finished reading the book but with only 8 episodes left, I'm hoping it picks up!

Can't see Eph, Vasiliy and Dutch meeting up for the final battle as they all seem to be spread far and wide with different tactics....

For those that didn't know, series 4 is on sky now, in fact all four series are.

Just watched the last two eps of Series 3 to reacquaint myself...wow

I hadn't realised this was back on but can't find on my planner. Which channel is it on?

(We're Virgin customers so hope we have the channel!)

Very sadly, and I don't know why, it's not on. All four series are on sky box sets, they were put on on the 15th. I was made aware by a mate on FB...otherwise I wouldn't have known!

The Strain is the best horror/sci-fi/fantasy series of recent times, yet it has been ignored criminally on UK telly.

I'm gonna have to use up my monthly whatsit in dloading them...also, sadly, it means discussion is now killed, since we won't all be watching week by week.

It's ignored because it is absolutely terrible, it's a strain to watch it; 7 pages in over 4 years isn't really much of a discussion, I don't think anyone will complain if you want to discuss anything.

I enjoyed it. It did get a little slow in the middle but season 3 ended superbly.
