This week's was okay I thought. What I didn't get though was the deal swap at the end....
How could the lawyer just decide that he wanted to get out of his side of the deal by just offering up another soul without their agreement? Or did I miss something
My understanding was that, by "forgiving" him, the sin (or the contract) effectively transferred to the Nurse. How could the lawyer just decide that he wanted to get out of his side of the deal by just offering up another soul without their agreement? Or did I miss something

Excellent last episode. I enjoyed the “Yeovil detention centre” reference as Sarah Parish is from Yeovil.
I enjoyed it, with lots of laugh out loud moments, but not sure what to make of the plotline.I'll have to watch it again to take it all in.
Also, I've been watching all the old episodes on iplayer and for the first time spotted the hare whilst watching one (the devil of Christmas).

Is the reference to 'spotting the hare' a common theatrical expression or something unique to this thread, either way what is meant by it?
Somewhere on the set of every episode, there is an ornament of a hare. 'spotting the hare' is just an Inside No9 thing, seeing where in the episode we see the hare ornament.Lordbenny said:
Can someone tell me what the hell that was all about.i really didn’t get the references this week.
Unusually for IN9, I think it was quite straightforward this week. Plot A was a fractious family full of various tensions, and plot B was "is he the 2nd coming of Christ, or an escaped asylum seeker?".Hairy Bush!

I was thinking the family were suppose to represent "Brexit Britain" or something ? hmm... I didn't understand the whole second coming bloke... maybe "Brexit Britain" / The Family had to sort out their own issues first before blaming the immigrant / Jesus...
Just watched eps 6, Last Night Of The Proms. Sounds daft to say but I enjoyed it at the same time as it going right over my head. Honestly don’t have a clue what it was about.
Not sure my brain is wired up right for this sort of thing. I was the same after watching a Black Mirror; always enjoyed it but had to check online afterwards to confirm what had happened!

I had it as two brothers, one a joyous brexiteer, the other an impotent remainer (who's wife was a closet 'rampant' brexiteer as well)
Jesus was the second coming/the newly freed UK/here to heal the wounds of the brexit debate/forgive
The opportunity for a fresh start stood in front of them but was killed by reactionary old ways (the worst of British/obvious fork/devil reference) and then by the embittered remainer who refused to recognise it/him/the result.
The end was the rampant brexiteer's dreams of a better future disappearing.
So a cautionary tale?
I could and most likely am talking absolute nonsense though!
