I haven't watched this since the pants-like first ep - is it worth continuing with or is it more of the same?

Well, considering there are ten pages and it's only four episodes in, clearly some people, including me would say, yes.

But if it's not your cup of tea, then just move on, no loss. Everyone is different, no right or wrong.

I've really enjoyed the previous series so I watched the first ep with high hopes but just found it comically poor.

I left it after episode one but then binge watched 2, 3 and 4.

Well worth it.

Didn't realise that the actor that plays DC Arnott is Scottish and speaks with a pretty heavy Scots accent.

As a Sarf Londoner, I thought he was one of ours biggrin

Martin Compston, he recently played Peter Manuel in 'In Plain Sight' with his regular scots accent.

Yes, he's from Greenock and used to play for Greenock Morton Football Club

We only started watching LoD from Series 2 with Kelly Hawes, never watched Series 1 so the we were always missing a fair bit out.

However we just found Series 1 on Netflix and I didn't realise that Huntleys piss-poor boss from Series 4 was also in Series 1! Another link?

I can't remember details like this from previous series, I might have a bit of an idea of what happened in the last one but back as far as the first? No chance. Fortunately it doesn't rely on it too much.

Maybe a sort of double bluff to throw 'us' off the scent?

Nah that's just a side thing as Buckles would obviously recognise Kate as being AC-12, hence the scenes where Hastings and Arnott had a private off the record chat. It's possible he dislikes AC-12 and let Huntley in on it early and they kept an eye on Kate, which is why they got the photos of her possible pushing the investigation underhandedly.

Martin Compston was on Soccer AM yesterday morning, he didn't give anything away but came across well, mentioned that this series is the first time AC-12 gets it turned back onto them. I think he forgot the time he slept with Denton and she was acquitted!

That seems to be a popular theory.

I really enjoy Line of Duty, but (as before) I find AC-12's staff so unlikable that I'm always rooting for the 'bent' copper!
M.
That is my trouble with the series too, you wouldn't want to go out for a drink with any of them and their boss is a Masonic ahole.

Just another dull quiet night!!!

Blimey the arm less one is ruthless, now happy to throw her other half, (who she seems to detest anyway) to the lions. Planting yet more evidence.

Think it is all going to start slowly crashing in on her, and lets see if she takes the spineless top brass boss down with her if shes got something on him???

Did anyone else pick up on the 'below the belt,' (sorry) Ironside reference from the beefy lawyer?
