Showing again from the very start, BBC1 9pm today and tomorrow.
Given those who have seen it know the outcome it’s not a series to really re watchEach to their own though.

HTR batman!
I've discovered this brilliant series during lockdown and binged all the episodes on Netflix and iPlayer. I also discovered this thread and had to carefully drip feed it to myself page by page as I watched each episode. You guys don't make it easy!
I'm not car nerdy enough to let things like the number plates and gun usage bother me. However I *am* nerdy enough to read the scripts and it's interesting to notice points where the final televised episode differs from a script. For example the scuffle between Kate and Lyndsey Denton in series two is written as a slap in the face but in the episode she full on punches her in the stomach to steal her phone. Scripts are on BBC Writers Room here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/writersroom/scripts/tv-drama...
Another "obvious now you think about it" point is how they have re-shot Dot Cotton's death scene from the end of series 3 a couple of times as they developed the storyline in series 4 and 5 - something mentioned in this really good podcast with Jed Mercurio https://play.acast.com/s/astabinthedark/jedmercuri...
Sounds like they didn't get far with filming series 6 before lockdown so we're probably a year away from seeing it which is a shame but hopefully it will tie up even more of the loose ends.

We missed this when it first came out because we'd just moved house, and we couldn't get BBC1 on the telly for some reason so we missed the Olympics too! We watched 3 episodes last night(S1) and really enjoyed it. We'd only watched series 5 previously so it will be good to catch up with it at last.

I am now up to series 5 having had a bit of a binge watch on the BBC Player. I think I have picked up on some subtle clues I missed the first time around. Well worth doing if you have the time to spare.
We’ve done the same, only as far as the end of Series 3. Peak line of duty. We’ve got to steal ourselves a bit for Thandie Newton. I only remember being incredibly irritated by her!

Started on BBC yesterday. New series of old one. Caught the last 0 mins so didn't want to watch.
Yes, it was series 2 being shown last night but all 5 series are available on iPlayer. Saw that the upcoming series 6 is going to have 7 episodes instead of the usual 6. Shouldn'tbe too long tovwait now.
