I have a feeling that either the High Court or the woman's solicitors f*cked up. If as she claimed the estate had not reached Probate, then there was no legal evidence of who now owned the property, and the girlfriend could not sell it. How could the High Court find in favour of the plaintiff if there was no clear title to the property?

In addition, the solicitors acting for this woman should have appealed, but clearly didn't put the case clearly to thr Courts. Poor beggars - her friend/neighbour was top quality. Good on her.

I wondered about that, but I reckon they had a dolly to manoeuvure the car round to the truck.

That is very likely, and not the councils fault at all, there must have been a reason they did not think the paperwork correct.

The recovery man opened the car door.

Maybe they were given the keys.

Disgraceful behaviour by the council. And an amazing gesture by Paul/his company.
It was brilliant.

Jobsworth :She's not homeless until she's out of the house
Bailiff: Ok, I've just kicked her out into the street.
JW: OK, I need to hear it from her.
Bailiff: But the phone is in the house, so she'll have to come back in.
JW: If she comes back in, she will not be homeless.

Joseph Heller has got nothing on Haringey council.

I had occasion to speak to the head of Highways after a fire-engine on call to a house fire could not get through my road due to vehicles parked opposite each other; his answer was that 'he had left passing places along the road'. Make of that what you will!

Every week the voiceover advises us that the enforcement officers are entitled to access through an open door, yet when they suddenly appear in a property they never seem to explain this to people. Why not, it would help their case, and maybe placate the defendants.

Lad who got the two grand off his family complete and utter waste of oxygen. Hopefully he will be evicted and made intentionally homeless. Not even the slightest recognition of the situation.

I understand you can be filmed in the street (public area) but why are they allowed to film and broadcast from private property?

Why do the evictees and defaulters allow it? are they paid?

He looked completely spaced-out.

On the bbc sheriff show most of the people "tell the cameras to leave" however the Beeb turn up with proper cameramen and all their kit. I believe the chaps on the ch5 show just wear GoPro style cameras (and discrete ones) when they are in a property because they are never told by defendants to "stop filming".
