I might have to watch it again, I thought it was a bit choppy.

An hour of drama that seemed to last ten minutes. Riveting.

Plus a genuine LOL.

Currently rewatching the ep, I had to search for gilgul. I do like mysticism in programmes (The Sopranos, Big Lebowski), and I did like the mysticism of S2

When Ray Wise (Marrane) turned up at the bowling alley I thought I had started watching Twin Peaks again. I had forgotten he was in it earlier.

I thought the bowling alley scene was a slight nod to the big lebowski. Stranger appearing sitting side by side at the bar commenting on the character/storyline. Even the way they pulled back the frame to show the stranger sitting at the bar was similar.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that the bowling alley scene jarred me right out of the story line/drama.

I know they did it with the UFO in S2 but WTF was the bowling alley supposed to represent and who was the man sitting at the bar supposed to be?

I like weird, but not for its own sake. Can somebody please explain?

It jarred with me a tad. The mysticism in S2 was less overt. But I'm going to hold back until I've seen th whole thing.

Paul Marrane (the bloke at the bar - the wandering jew) is an 'immortal man destined to wander the Earth, having been cursed by Jesus Christ for taunting him on his way to crucifixion'.

In the last episode, without spoiling anyone's enjoyment who hasn't seen it yet, why did the BMW X5 stop? I thought it was out of fuel. But then he drove off in it?

I caught up on Wednesday's lastnight, and ohhh the last one is going to be good smile . I do think Varga is right up there with Lorne Malvo for Fargo bad guys. The little sayings and speeches about seeing things the other way around, and wanting anyone against him on his side or dead. The scene in the hotel lobby with Nikki was great.

My pedantry set in for both scenes, unfortunately. For a start, how did she know the truck was going to be moved, and what the route was going to be? Plus how was Yuri to know where she was going to sit in the hotel foyer? Stretched the imagination for me.

Still loving it, though. I want to see her p*ss in a large jar and force Varga to drink it.

(I find Gloria Burgle a bit attractive. Got a feeling she would scrub up OK. Maybe just me........)

I would guess Mr Wench's contacts for the first, plus the weapons.
the second thing...hmmm, maybe the hotel room have a good view of a lot of the foyer?

the vantage point covered most of the lobby, they were probably watching the truck, pretty sure they knew about it.

Best part of the lobby scene was Varga was genuinely rattled for the first time and realised he had been out maneuvered maybe for the first time in his career.

I cannot wait for the final episode!
