Or it could have belonged to a sailor who chucked it over the side at some point 1000s of miles away from where he bought it?

It was in a plastic bottle. You can see by the tide line just how much crap washes up on those beaches. It really isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

yep there is tons of plastic crap on the beaches, but none of it came through the Panama canal and I cannot see how else it got there, and I have never found a full drink bottle on a beach, ever. So what a marvelous coincidence that they found it!

There is another little island not far from this with an old submarine wreck on the beach, now that would have been a good find!

Was it even lilt? I know it looked like it but lilt isn’t the only greenish pineapple flavoured pop out there in the world. The label was long gone unless > puts on foil helmet < it was some sort of product placement by Coca Cola? It wasn’t even full, only about 1/4full.

He tasted it and said it tasted a bit like lilt, it was a tropical fruit drink, and it was only about a third full.

Pretty sure it's not the first year it's happened.

Yep, one of the previous series, on the brink of starvation the group found a tin of beans "left behind by hunters".

Should be plenty of seafood in the rock pools. And you often get fishing nets washed up that can be used. The other day on a neighbouring island I found a washed up net with a large shark, a turtle and scores of sea bass still in it. They were a bit ripe mind.

Planted by the film crew when they got drunk and mixed the islands up. wink

IN his condition, lemon and piss probably 'tastes' like lilt, there's loads of similar drinks sold across the coast of the americas.
Was probably mountain dew extreme!

Come on, after seeing multiple previous series we know they'll all come good in the end (especially the one that the editors decide to initially portray as a total layabout waste of space) and learn valuable moral lessons in the process.. rolleyes

Pretty sure another bottle with something like ginger beer or lemonade was found.

Good ep tonight. Starting to like the tall auctioneer...though goodness knows why he asked that lazy cow into the posh camp, jeez louise, she was just an awful awful person.
He only works 3-4 weeks a year! biggrin

Definitely better.

Mercedes is most certainly a lazy cow. She could have used this as a chance to shift that weight if nothing else!

Amazing how little respect they have for the sea and the potential to drown. I imagine Mercedes and seen Hippo's on wildlife shows and thought it looked easy?

They did inform us that she had once been a swimming instructor ( the old photo of her revealed she had once had a perfectly normal body size) so I presume she had the confidence to have a go. At the speed she was moving it would have taken all day.

The heat and humidity must be energy-sapping. Carrying massive body weight would be debilitating to the point where she could hardly move , let alone perform any physical tasks. She was a burden on her group, and I suspect she knew it. The other chubster Sammy seems to get by, but I wonder how long before she succumbs?

I like Barnes. Comes across as non-judgemental. Just wants to be everybody's friend.
