Phelan and Care Worker, I reckon is father and long lost daughter, enough hints dropped (oh my dad was a builder, etc), I reckon they both suspect but neither have said anything yet!
Brilliant deduction.

I read somewhere his daughter is going to be making an appearance so this seems pretty likely scenario.

Was there any previous mention of the corner shop refit. It just seems to have happened. Wonder if the set got damaged?
There must have been a big fight with Whelan and someone else. wink

Cheers pal, perhaps you can tell us all the other plot spoilers you 'read somewhere' in the rags just to save me the bother of watching it?
Speculation is fine, it's all part of the chat. Spoilers just aren't welcome on this thread.

Indeed. The trouble is you only have to go into any well known supermarket to see future plotlines plastered all over the covers of the TV mags at eye level.

However you are right of course, best not to mention any spoilers on the thread, however unintentional, personally I don't have a clue what is going to happen next week or the week after and this adds to my enjoyment.

Which begs the question - why oh why do the producers of Corrie release this advance information? I'm convinced that at least 95% of viewers don't want to know. Presumably the trashy magazines which print it are paying them a healthy sum.

It's alright, he didn't tell you Felon is going to sleep with her before he finds out she's his daughter.

Or that David and Shona honeymoon on the maiden Virgin Galactic voyage but it explodes immediately after leaving the earth's atmosphere.

I am not over fussed- plot has always been a long , long way behind the appeal of characterisation on the Street. Some Oedipus action involving Phelan would be quite splendid though.

Is the Andy story a sleeper then? Will some long lost relative turn up to find out what's going on, move in with Rita and then become a permanent fixture thereby replacing Phelan when he does a runner.

Oh. And the £15k. Anyone? Anyone at all? No?

People working in factories and low paid jobs have not missed the £15k as it was just spare change.

2 episodes on Friday as normal.

It's only tonight's episode that is not on.

It'll give Sarah more time to ponder what to do about her £15k, which I believe was her share of the fashion business in Milan. Rita can afford to lose hers (Jenny's) because she seems to have an inexhaustible supply of cash left to her by Ted Sullivan. Was that it? Anyone else on the Street lose their deposit?

PS I don't mind schedules being changed for important football matches, but it's some mickey-mouse tournament.

Although I agree and it should be on ITV4 like the earlier games, it is good to watch some good football without half the country going into meltdown when someone misses a penalty against Germany...

Eileen's driving experience has been in an electric Renault Zoe. yet she volunteers to drive Nicola's Alfa Mito - very adventurous.

I liked the music from the juke box when Aidan was in the Rovers - "The Game of Love".
