I like the once a week release

Gives me chance to mull it over, see what the thread thinks etc

I miss wee snippets when I binge watch stuff

Feels really good even the new characters remind you of past ones, so makes if feel like you already know them. The Jimmy on the run stuff really coming into its own, wonder if they will do a spin off of that..

Excellent couple of episodes, we're finally getting to see Saul. It's only taken six years to get here.

So glad this is back, and was pleasantly surprised to have 2 episodes to catch up with last night, expected only 1 but ended up staying up watching the second straight away.

Saul good sofar... usual slow pacing had me wander off and do the dishes during the more expositional parts of ep2 though.

Thought it was one a week so missed the 2nd episode Monday night. Watched it last night. Finally getting some pace.

Don't forget the Insider Podcast with cast, crew and writers. Vince Gilligan explains how they managed to get Robert Forster and the vacuum cleaner store scene into BCS.

Enjoyingbit so far, but the writing for Nacho's raid was disappointingly sloppy - no way a swat team enters an apartment through the front door and ignores all other entrances and exits completely.

True, but it was by orders of magnitude more believable and "artistic licence" than super Lalo teleporting up onto a ceiling grid and then down again, without making a sound.

Yeah that whole scene wasn't up to the usual high standard.

What I couldn't stop thinking about was the idea two major gang bosses are so bothered about such pathetic amounts of drugs. Their reaction when being told how much was inside was disproportionate to the actual quantity of drugs they stood to lose. At best there was about an ounce worth of coke in 1gram baggies. Why would they give a st? If it had been all 6 kilos Gus gives them I could understand.

They've always been concerned over the details though, haven't they? All those scenes at the Mexican restaurant counting the money, and consequences for those coming up short even by a few dollars, suggests it's a concern.

I thought the concern was more to do with what would be pinned on their guy that was caught on the ladder.

Not just me then. That and as mentioned above the acrobatics of whatisname to retrieve it (though we know why) made the whole scene a bit silly.

That said, it's shaping up nicely and that's just Kim's tight skirts.

Front had told Nacho to gain Salamanca’s trust in a previous scene. What better way to do it than to risk it all to get those drugs back.

The scene might not have worked but I feel the reason it’s in there is to show how we gains that trust.

Either the producers are completely naive and think the amount of drugs they're showing on screen is significant or they dropped the ball. Instead of risking arrest to retrieve a handful of baggies, in reality Nacho would just turn to the two mugs in the back and say "oops, I guess you owe us for an ounce of coke. You'll have that $600 in a week, yeah?" and they'd be like "sure Nacho, no problem". Whereas if they'd just lost 6 kilos then they'd have a serious fking problem.
