Each successive government says prisons are full (no wonder if the populations increased by millions) but I'm sure it would be a net gain to the economy (let alone society) if these sorts of people were locked up even if it meant slightly more tax having to be shelled out to do so.

That was the 2nd one wasn't it? When they were listing the arrest/charge sheet there was one every couple of weeks, including an attempted murder.

No point locking anyone like that up. Drop them in the middle of the Atlantic and have done with it.

Watched the first two (of three) so far of The Murder Detective.
Pretty good watch but struggle to understand what they're saying sometimes especially with the overly loud background music.

Struggling to engage with this one - seems to be an all around depressing case of scrotes (very nearly?) killing scrotes.

Similarly struggle to empathise with the mother wailing in the hospital - "Why did you go out? You didn't need to do this, you have a loving family!". Well your son was clearly dealing a not insubstantial amount of drugs, involving trips (pick ups/drop offs?) 30 miles away from home and managed to cross some very nasty people, that wasn't an accident, was it?
