..But did Tim already think Andy stood a good chance of possibly finding something - hence last week when he was telling Andy to try digging further away?
I just thought that was so that Andy was only digging in a part where they weren't putting foundations in, so it wouldn't matter if he found anything.

Must make a note to not delete the recording the instant the end credits start rolling.

After the hypnosis:

"Fish and chips"

Adjusts collar, "Thank you very much"

Genius, subtle and very funny.

That's why I like the programme. It's the small almost throwaway jokes that does it.

I really hope he does some more writings.

Much like Garfunkel (Simon Farnaby) ‘congratulating’ Lance: “Here’s to you”

Andy and Lance: “Mrs Robinson” while bumping fists.

I thought the site manager Tim just saw what Andy was doing as a hindrance to the building project he is running... and the fact Andy had now actually found something would create a major set back.
That's my interpretation too. He's been told to keep to schedule and find nothing by his bosses.

He was given the phone to see the pictures that Andy had taken and deleted them in those few seconds.

I wonder if they had to get permission to use 'terra firma' as that is Guy Hands well known private equity brand.

I doubt it as it's a well known phrase in it's own right.

I was disappointed, it's good enough without introducing an evil, rival, detectorist gang.
Doesn't need it, don't want it.

Epic scene. That 7 is not running right though, strange for Lance to neglect it. Although ties in well with the rot spotted by Andy and could have been just a plot device to make more noise at 5am.

I too thought it was syrange for it to be running so rough.

Oh, only just started watching this series. My point stands though detectorist "chapters" just aren't needed.
