Why is Michael Gove messing around with that ectoplasm? Is he trying to ruin everything?

Is that it?Wow. Basically a poorly executed and cheap-looking copy of the Caddy from the original GB.
"Yeah, we couldn't find a classic Cadillac that was cheap enough, and all the other ambulances reminded us too much of Cannonall Run"
It just screams low-budget.

It looks like the car that Ray and Winston should have been using at the start of Ghostbusters 2, to do kids birthday parties.Wow. Basically a poorly executed and cheap-looking copy of the Caddy from the original GB.

I'm wondering whether they'll have this stty car when they first start out - only to roll out a cool futuristic looking thing when they inevitably become successful at the end of the movie - perhaps based on something like this:
I watched the original again last night - it's just such a great film, with every line delivered perfectly , great chemistry and not a single shot wasted. Second one didn't have the heart and felt like they were treading water but still fun to watch. The third one is going to be awful

I did the same recently. I'll go to my grave having never watched the 3rd one. TheAngryDog said:

I'll still watch it, if only for the sake of morbid curiosity. After all there have been some good remakes/reboots so there's always a chance it can work................
I hope it does work - but I can't think of a single non-chick flick "all female team" movie that has been good. The odds are stacked against it.
The fact of the matter is - if Ghostbusting was a real job - it would be done by blokes (mostly). By doing a complete gender role reversal to the point of casting a hunky male receptionist (who will in all probability be the butt of jokes) - you naturally take away some of the believability. It just feels forced.
The original had an air of plausibility about it that this movie just doesn't (and IMO won't) have.
