Enjoyed that. How dodgy did the jet safety seem?
Very!

Could’ve gone wrong very quickly.....
Agreed. It's amazing though how naturally amazingly capable Guy is at everything he does in these shows.
It suggested to me that these things are very easy to fly due to modern technology.

I'd imagine it costs a fair bit to extract from the ground, but yeah, supply and demand is where it's at.

I certainly wouldn't be going anywhere near that place without me lead-lined underpants.

As ever ,. I find his appeal to so many viewers difficult to understand. He is not especially articulate or charismatic and sounds like the bloke down at your local tyre depot . It works for millions , even though I still struggle to see why .

I suspect that if you live somewhere where everyone sounds like GM then his appeal will be lessened, but elsewhere in the country his accent could be considered (somewhat patronisingly) endearing and down to earth - so also Fred Dibnah.

I'd be interested to read that, any chance you could post it up again or link the thread?

It's one of those places I would love to see but maybe in later life, don't think I could sell it to the GF!!
