Maybe they were turning lights, which come on as you go round a corner. Lots of cars fitted with them these days.
Ah, could be. I am much obliged... Never heard of such a thing.
Common on many cars now smile

A bigger continuity issue last night - and probably confined to PH-centric viewers - was the state of the fog lights below the bumper. At the start the drivers side was on, later on the passenger side, sometimes neither. I'm annoyed at myself for noticing.
I spotted that, continuity error. Towards the end he had one foglight out, rounded the corner and both were off. I knew another PH-er would spot it. #doffscap

I took that as indicator-linked lights in the modern stylee. Am I mistaken?

I do think that the performance of the rear wiper needs addressing though.
Seriously? Isn't it obvious why it's left dirty.

It is, but it's one of those things you can never un-notice once spotted

Have now caught up on iPlayer, didn't like ep 2 (the fat smurf) but loved the rest. It looked like the guy out of Detectorists in the cyclist-rage incident (the YT video was brilliant) and the monkey escapee made me laugh! biggrin
It was (Russel I think his name was in Detectorists)

'It's a bloody car not a coaster!'

No explanation as to how he got the smell of monkey pee off his seats. I reckon Febreeze wouldn't have been enough.

Still haven't spotted Samuel L Jackson but did notice cash 4 pies, plus one I don't think has been mentioned, 'no pies left in this van overnight'... the show that keeps giving.... smile

Ep4 - and the song Kayleigh at the end - fitted so well is it possible that they had chosen her name at the start of the Series 1 knowing they would use that song so much later on? Or just got lucky with available music when writing Series 2.

Great music throughout this series. Loved some of the tunes in Ep 3 and 4.

I see that you can listen to Forever FM should you so wish

Peter Kay definitely has a knack for being able to write likeable, down to earth characters. Most of what they talk about is the inane chat we all do every day with our partners and friends - favourite songs, mistakes in films, traffic, but he does it in a way that's funny and endearing.
No doubt he has a significant hand in it but its primarily written by Paul Coleman and Sian Gibson (Kayleigh), well certainly Series 1 was. IIRC they approached PK for a critique of scripts they'd written (think he was at college with Sian) and he fell in love with it and asked if he could be in it. A bit of a marketing twist later and it became "Peter Kay's Car Share".

Must be irritating for the main writers, but you can see why they did the re-brand.

Not sure I'd have watched it if it was on BBC2 at 11pm, which is where it would have gone had Peter Kay not been in it.
