Does Mark strings character go inside?
All the movies overlook the guy who went in with a revolver and held one guy in a room as they attacked. Think he was a negotiator
Spoilered even though we all know how it ends..All the movies overlook the guy who went in with a revolver and held one guy in a room as they attacked. Think he was a negotiator
No, Mark Strong is the negotiator, he does approach to talk to them through the window and give them food.
There was a policeman inside with a revolver who fought one guy when they attacked, do you mean him?

7/10 not as good as the first but still damn good fun
I'd read some reviews running it down. For me it was a couple of hours of escapism with a few laughs and lots of swearing thrown in. I liked it! 8/10. Good effects. 7/10 not as good as the first but still damn good fun
Maybe I'm a bit out of touch but I thought 'that Elton John impersonator looks nothing like him.... ' turns out it's him. The whole Elton thing adds to the fun...
I saw The Intouchables yesterday. Ok, it's been out a few years but I'd read good reviews and it didn't disappoint. Being French also meant it was less schmaltzy than the equivalent Hollywood treatment of a disabled lead role. With the added PH bonus of a glorious sounding Maser Quattroporte racing through Paris in a cut price version of Robin!
Recommend.

Finally saw Baby Driver last weekend. 9/10 for me - some superb (but not completely OTT) driving sequences, plus a decent story-line and good cast.
Was slightly surreal though - the opening bank robbery was filmed directly outside the building I'm currently working in and the foot chase went through the mall I've been eating lunch in most days!
Also watched the Lego Batman Movie as well - 7/10 for that. Was far funnier than I expected.

Top ten of all time.Recommend.
Mindhorn - Laugh out loud funny on many occasions in the film, very fine awkward humour, which turned a tad too silly later on, which was a shame, but still I'd watch it again.
The Founder - brilliant, loved this, MK as ever, so watchable, best US actor of his generation? Supporting cast top notch and the slow story was well executed.

We bought this as a £4 Tesco evening in flick, thinking it looked promising. I found it a little dull and slow paced. One to join the charity shop pile. Agree that MK was good mind. The accountant
I really quite enjoyed it as the plot went didn't really go as expected. I tend to try and have a rough idea of how I think a films story is going to play out after 10 minutes. Any movie that surprises me gets plus points.
6/10
Kingsman: the golden circle
A decent sequel hampered by a lengthy sub plot that could have been worked into the film in a much better way. Could have done with a bit longer in the editing suite as well.
Overall slightly disappointing.
7/10
Alien: covenant
Enjoyed it more on the second viewing. Once you come to piece with the awful characters and their poor decision making (see the red letter media video for a comprehensive breakdown) you can enjoy the visuals and action. Say what you like, but the production design is stunning and the film is incredibly well made. To use an automotive analogy; it's like a modified car that you don't like for some reason. Wrong wheels, engine from another manufacturer. You don't love it, but you appreciate the quality of the work.
