Yes, yes. But what about the material on the train seat? Or the fact that the date mark on one of the truck tyres was from 2015 (if you zoom in) or what about the UPVC window clearly visible in a split second shot of the sea front?
yeh i know, pissed me off the most, was in 1940 may-june the met office said it would warm, dry and sunny. it was none of those, that is the biggest let down ever, i nearly walked out, cant they get the facts right.

Found it so utterly tedious. THe rockin' an a rollin' seats in the cinema didn't help my mood. fking stupid gimmick.

Dunkirk tonight.

Not the greatest film I've seen, (that's sounds unfair but true) but while watching it, utterly engrossing, entertaining, informing and truly wonderful!

Every youngster or uneducated feckwit should see it to understand that Hollywoods bang bang exploding versions of war are somewhat unreal.

Most enjoyable.

I think it is included with Amazon Prime at the moment so could watch it but I just can't raise the enthusiasm. I would happily watch the first one again.

School holidays so Diary of a Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul.

Predictable formulaic road trip film where, as in every other Yank road trip film takes a dysfunctional family and, of course, creates harmony from a lot of stupid and unfunny totally avoidable chaos.

However, the film left the mystery of how two white parents had an eldest child who was plainly Asian while the other two kids were plainly middle belt American white. Had the prim mother had a wild fling or was this covered in an earlier film. It was nearly as unsettling as why Americans love their road trip films so much.

My 8 year old loved the diary of a wimpy kid movie. Didn't do a lot for me but I guess I'm not the target audience.

He also like Captain Underpants which I was looking forward to due to the reviews but I thought it was just ok.

We both liked Terminator....borderline appropriate for his age

The books are aimed squarely at kids, mine loves them. Fart gags aplenty, so you know, go with it.

Talking of children.

My Nursey wife came back from a shift one day sometime ago and found my four children and I sitting on the couch watching the life of Brian.

They thought it was absolutely hilarious and the best film they had ever seen!

Wifey didn't have the same opinion mind!

Not that so much, she was just concerned that the children were too young!

Which is rubbish of course because you are never too young.

Captain Fantastic

The name of the film made me think it was just another silly super-hero type movie, but it isn't.
It's about a man and his six kids who live a nomadic lifestyle in the wilds of America, who eventually concede that they need to integrate more with society.
Great film. Well worth watching.
Saw this very recently too, thought it was brilliant - massively recommended.

Valerian... loved it. Was it a great film? No, not in the slightest but as a pop-corn spectacle it's up there. An absolute riot of colour and SFX (note to Michael Bay THAT is how to do an SFX laden film). Acting? Well Carla Delevigne is one of the stars so I'll leave you to figure that one out

Well if you were planning to watch Casino Royale tonight on ITV4 you might be in for a rather amusing surprise.

Rather than load up the advertised hard-core Daniel Craig version, they are showing the extraordinary and possible LSD influenced 60s original effort by mistake.

Good job its buried away on ITV4 as if it was on ITV it might have been a tiny bit more of a job ending issue.

A surprisingly underrated film. I know it was a comedy, but it had a lot going for it. Not least the idea that "James Bond" was a code name that could be held by any number of people.

Our local Cinema is having a £5 ticket week, so i am going on my own (not wifes type of film at all) but i love a sci fi spectacle.

Just saw Collosal. I was never very fond of Anne Hathaway.
Now I like her.
A lot.
