The Lamplighter has retired, so a replacement Seven member is recruited through an audition/interview process. Starlight is the successful candidate.
Thanks, that's what it appears like, but isn't that a bit odd?Don't other superheroes employed by the company get promoted? How did she get chosen if she's not got any real experience and not even met the other seven? - That's my real question. I see there's a thread on The Boys, so maybe I'll put this in there.

Has Starlight applied for (and got) a job as one of The Seven, rather than working her way up through the ranks? What about all the other superheroes that have been working, don't they get promoted? Seems a bit odd that someone with zero actual experience and without even meeting the other Seven can get a job on 'the board'. Or have I missed something?
I think it's about how photogenic rather than purely how good... think of it like x-factorSimon Pegg playing an American and Karl Urban playing a Brit, should've played each others roles . (I know Karl is a New Zealander) - Good to see them in the same thing again!
Only one episode in, good so far. Though the realisation that Pegg is actually just about old enough to be the Dad is depressing as he is about the same age as me!

All series of Justifed have now been added to Prime. If you haven’t seen it then I wholeheartedly recommend giving it a go.
Timothy Olyphant plays a cowboy US Marshall who breaks the rules to get things done and fate brings him back to his routes to deal with his old criminal friends.
If you like crime dramas or westerns then it’s a must see.
Thanks very much for the rec. Never heard of it before, Just binged the first season, really enjoyed it. Timothy Olyphant plays a cowboy US Marshall who breaks the rules to get things done and fate brings him back to his routes to deal with his old criminal friends.

Good reminder on Justified. I started watching when it was released, but got sidetracked and never finished it.
I’ve just found all 7 seasons of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on Prime. Definitely dated but I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed it. And Sarah Michelle Gellar and Charisma Carpenter ...

I am hallway though the third series, watching an episode a day on the train. Its really good.I am surprised there is anyone left in that town considering the amount of people who get killed in each episode.
Started New Amsterdam yesterday, unsurprisingly got a bit of a House vibe about it but enjoying it so far,
What happened at Amazon Prime? They seem to be getting things right but it must have been a change made some time a go and the shows are just coming out now, production values are so much higher than the early stuff I watched on Prime (Man in the High Castle etc).

I liked new Amsterdam. Hopefully the next series will be available soon. What happened at Amazon Prime? Bit of a shock ending to the 1st series.
