yes

I've been watching a couple a day since it was recommended, very good, especially as there's been nothing on terrestrial TV of an evening for months on end midweek.

Has Prime had a bollywood overload. Just tried to look at highest rated film and almost all of them are Bollywood st.
That wasnt the case for me a few days back?. Highest rated movies were all the usual Hollywood fare.
Must have been a glitch, checked today nan all the Bollywood st has disappeared.

Also, if there is a 4K version, why not play that automatically - why show the normal version if better is available - I don't to search for every title I watch to see if there's also a 4K version.
This drives me nuts about Amazon. I’ve watched plenty of shows and films only to discover I could have watched them in 4K.

Is there an easy way to find the 4k version? Want to watch boat tonight.

And also filter out pay for content (the mobile app allows this, why not the TV app).

If you know what you want, you can search but as you say rubbish for browsing.

Netflix (UI) is miles ahead.
Netflix UI is ahead but is still stinks.
It’s bizarre that two biggest subscription TV services have such rubbish interfaces. We rarely use them to browse and frequently pick something on our phone first.

I started watching Bosch during lockdown and got through all six series pretty quickly. Series 7 is filming now and apparently it's set to be the last one just when I've got into it.

I often scroll through Amazon Prime struggling for something to watch but just occasionally there's something good I get into.

Really good series. Followed on from Justified, another great series.

I would say Patriot and the Boys are the top 2 on Amazon, if you haven’t seen those they are both brilliant in different ways

Really? I thought both were formulaic and they felt predictable after a few episodes: flawed dad, divorced, sassy daughter, he breaks the rules, but we know he has to do so to get results, 'the system' tries to beat him, fails, etc. There are squillions of identikit crime series on TV.

Next!

We all like different things. I thought The Boys was garbage.

Same, I gave up about half way through season 1 and can't be arsed to watch the rest.

Blimey. Just goes to show how different people like different things. Variety is the spice of life and everything.

ive noticed a lot of Netflix and AP seem divisive, you either love them or hate them. Nothing in between.

Anyway in other news Indiana Jones are on AP, great stuff.

I agree re formulaic, but as Paul Simon quipped, all the great songs have already been written. For me, both series were done very well, tightly scripted, well casted, well acted. High quality in other words. Two of my favourite shows.

If there is, I haven’t found it. I guess you could search for the title and see if a 4K version appears in the results.
