Probably the longest car chase in film history.
Mad Max: Fury road?
That’s more a drive into the desert, and then back again.

Spotted bohemian rhapsody is now free on prime, very good

My favourite road movie of that era was 1971's Vanishing Point.
Seconded smile

I'm amazed that anyone watching CTA2 was expecting more than a few laughs. It was enjoyable fluff for a couple of hours, I've watched far worse that was taking itself seriously.
Agree with this, was exactly what I expected smile

Terrible hair, clothes, interior decor. God I hated the seventies, it's horrific! yuck

Lots of full sized yanks though.

The interesting thing about Gone in 60 seconds is that the stunts were done without permission of the authorities.

I watched it over the weekend. Damn, that was a bad film in every respect but premise and nostalgia.

The Nic Cage remake, while a long way from perfect, is better in every sense.

Some of the 70's scene was fantastic. Love this bit of 70's nostalgia. Fashion and music overload. https://youtu.be/au8cCvGk9eU

I've been watching "Start Up" on Amazon. It's a good distraction from the pain of the elliptical trainer in the gym.

Anywaaaaay, Martin Freeeman plays a crooked FBI agent chasing the crooked dollar in / around Miami in the modern world. It's a pretty good distraction. (You'd also never have thought "Tim Cantebury" would have got laid so often! laugh )

Made in Italy. Liam Neeson, Tuscany, family drama.

You might like it, we're all different. Why not watch it and then agree/disagree with me?
