Watched first episode of Longmire, looks like my kind of thing, great script so far some cracking lines.

Loved Longmire. Because of that I got into Justified. Also the Jesse Stone films with Tom Selleck.

Justified is another great series with a brilliant ensemble cast of support actors.

Justified is excellent, the books were written by Elmore Leonard, a genius, who also wrote Hombre, 3.10 to Yuma and one of my favourite films/books, Valdez Is Coming

I'm on series 5 of Longmire. I'd watched up to series 3 years ago and then lost track of it. I love the whole aesthetic.

I think Longmire probably got me into Justified too - and then Yellowstone.

Funny to spot actors that have appeared in two or more of these series.

Great series.

The books are excellent.

In some ways better. Walt is less serious... Henry is spot on in the series

I was surprised to learn Lou D-P isn't actually descended from native Americans and is in fact Filipino. All those years after watching him in Young Guns, I just assumed.

I like him though but surprised I haven't seen him in much (anything?) between Young Guns and Longmire.

He appears in southland... Also on amazon.

Series 4 and 5

Not a major role.

Cast as a street cop with a dodgy attitude.

loved the series - for some reason I loved Henry's lack of contractions. It just appeared precise, for want of a better expression.

WRT the Jesse Stone stuff - where is that available to watch?

To be honest, I can’t remember, this was back in the first lockdown. It might have been Prime. I seem to remember they weren’t all in one place though, so you might have to scratch around. Apologies.

I’ve only seen the Jesse Stone films available on terrestrial tv.

Well i'm enjoying it, really like things like this, can't really define what it is, horror-comedy, satire? Quite intelligent as well in the writing and story, Christopher Waltz is worth watching it alone, even though he only ever plays one character, menacing darkness,he does it with aplomb.

Great binge stuff, that I can't really think fits any other shows..

Just finished it, really makes you think, and not many answers to questions you will have. Definitely won't appeal to people that like Mrs Brown but the comedy us there just hard to spot.

Sooo many questions, but hey, that wasn't their point.

Yeh I liked it really. Because obviously it works on a few levels and if they were blatant would ruin it because it becomes another xxxx series. I get it won't be for everyone but I really left it thinking WTF.

Neither is Kelsey Asbille who plays Monica Dutton (Kayce's wife) in Yellowstone (well, she claims to be part Cherokee, but they deny it).
