yes it is good, better if you have seen his original films as he takes the piss out of himself, but it works well.

I thought that was very good. Although after watching 4 seasons on Prime they switched the last season to pay as you watch, didn't want to pay for the last season so jumped to the last episode .

We've just watched the film Your Name which is free on prime, both subtitle and dubbed versions.

It's a Japanese anime (highest grossing of all time) that gets universally good reviews everywhere - just Google it.

Anyway it's great, really beautiful to watch with some amazing animated sequences. Lovely story too with surprising twists. The lady in your life will cry, guaranteed.

It takes a little while to get going so give it to me but it's really worth it.

Having ploughed through 3 seasons of 12 Monkeys it's actually really good. It's recognisably based on the film but much more than just a stretched version of the story (unlike the Dusk til Dawn TV show!)

Tightly plotted, consistent, well made, interesting characters. Probably better for having the bits of Gilliam weirdness stripped off as the concept/'La Jetée' never needed it. And as time travel stories go it's a strong one.

Definitely recommend, now I just need to wait for Season 4 to arrive and finish the story off.

Anyone watched 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel'? A comedy drama about a perfect jewish housewife whose husband leaves her and she stumbles on to a stage and turns out she is pretty great at stand up comedy.

Lenny Bruce is a character in it, Tony Shaloub is in it, the girl who is the lead is great. Plus she gets her boobs out in the first episode, if you need a bit of a push to give it a go hehe

(I am reliably informed by the OH they are a pretty magnificent pair! eekhehe)

Enjoyed Free Fire, very different from anything I've seen and Wheatley does well to make an entire film being nothing more than a warehouse shootout very engaging.

I enjoyed it. Only the single season though, now relegated to guest appearances in things like Arrow.

These 'Arrowverse' shows were much better when they were a bit more serious and adult, the recent seasons are more of a bunch of Saturday morning junk for tweens.

Amazon video bombed out on me earlier tonight and I've not been able to reconnect since on my TV (inbuilt app) or my phone.

Anyone else?
