Agree. It's interesting to see the chefs who bring the best out of the contestants. Tommy Banks was really good, and offered plenty of constructive thoughts. TA this week, I sense not, similarly Aktar who I thought was needlessly sharp. Who else was good - I know I've missed one or two?

Lisa tonight also great. Someone is way out of his depth though, isn't he.

Undercooked the lamb slightly there, that will cost him in this round

I would be in heaven eating all that main course. He will have a busy final cook in the day.

Yeah that was a shame for him. Correct winner though and such a lovely lass.

On to the main event!

Agreed. She's a really excellent chef, and deserved to have more than one dish at the banquet.

That dessert dish of hers did nothing for me tbh. Certainly didn't look as banquet-worthy as Amber's or Jean's. It's a shame they didn't decide to split the main course though, imo. I'm sure they've done that before when they've had a tie.

I think Amber's will be perfect for the banquet.

Just watched on iPlayer and agree.

In a way I don’t think anyone should have a second dish at the banquet. I’d be happy to see the winner of a dish get removed from the competition.

That’s me though smile

The way these chefs are working together and supporting each other is really heartwarming, I am really enjoying every aspect of this tonight.
