I wouldn't be surprised if Axe and Chuck team up at some point.
Not out of the question, Wendy said in a previous episode they used to actually like each other. Scabutz said:

Not out of the question, Wendy said in a previous episode they used to actually like each other. Great show and the detail is impressive.
However, in the latest episode Taylor has her quant work on a model that can reliably return > 8% if they throw another $2bln at it!
This is then going to be pitched to a sophisticated alternative investor, effectively a back tested model without an actual track record that returns 8%.
As we speak the DJIA (Dow), the best known US stock index has returned 17% in the last year. (Bloomberg data).
That is beyond a tough sell, even before the fee structure is negotiated, most investors would laugh at you and need enough detail of your model that they would literally own it.
Track record is everything in this game, $2bln is unlikely to come out of the ether for a start up fund.
Then again it does make a good storyline.

This show just keeps getting better and better! No flatlines, just great episodes.
Who was the person that Taylor asked for at the end of the episode?
"Grigor Andolov" (played by John Malkovich), the russian from the previous episode who pulled half his investment, for the oil deal and then put it back in. This was a problem for Axe as it looked like an investor was less confident in the fund.Who was the person that Taylor asked for at the end of the episode?

Without posting any spoilers because I don't know where people are up to - I think Taylor is heading for big trouble.
Certainly is......she's going rogue... big change of character from the first series... she's gone a bit Wall Street "Greed is good", and given who she's getting in to bed with it shouldn't have a happy ending!
