I went with caution, I don’t like running so a baying mob isn’t a nice thought. wobble

Liked that. yes

After an entire season of "go here, do this", it was great to see lots of character development.

Good episode but the scene where captain phasma gets her stripes was cringey toss

Slow, cringey and written by committee so far for me - next week should be good though and that haunting Irish song is stuck in my head!

Agreed. I'm finding it too slow so far. Not living up to my (admittedly high) expectations!

Its 2 hours of staging so far, reminding us of who is who, who likes who and who doesn’t.

Next week will be 60 mins of brutality and death IMO.

+1 I felt it boring at 2am this morning. Wait so long and the 2 episodes don’t deliver much in the way of the hope of major killings.
Just setting a stage for the following episodes, all I am expecting to be basically like the major episodes of previous seasons smile

Black water, Red Wedding, Battle of the bds, Watchers on the wall.

Excellent. I thought this was one of the best eps since S6. A lot of payoffs. LOved how Brienne had the two most eligible, virile men either side of her vying for her attentions and then she becomes a Ser, perfect, max level up for her, so she dies next week I guess. biggrin
'I'm no king but if I were, I'd knight you ten times over.' hehe
bestbit of the ep.
Arya sex pest was a bit...disturbing, but st least she's stopped being lil boy psycho.
also nice to see her have a proper chat with Hound, and the Mormont chat.

But one missing...Sandra and Hound...writers forget or will we get one next week?

Yeah. Scripting by the numbers if you ask me.

And as for Arya... wrong on so many levels.

I think we said goodbye to a lot of characters tonight.

We really didn’t need to see Arya like that, we’ve known her since she was a child.

I said 18 to my wife. 22!
As the comment says above, we’ve known her since she was a child.
Wasn’t needed at all in the show.

Sandra looked sexier in her badass armour(although Im not averse to bewbs personally smile)
Odds are we say bye to a lot of people-Greyworm is toast as soon as he mentioned retiring to a place by the beach. Likewise Brienne. Will de saving Tormont or Jaimie I reckon,or maybe vice vera
Hopefully not Ser Friendzone, although getting a decent sword is worrying

What happens between Daenerys and Jon now then?

Stay together?
Jon tells everyone?
Daenerys burns him alive on accident?

Yeah, Dani is a tad crazy ex type.

So, deaths. I reckon Brienne, Greyworm, Miss (loved the looks she gets from the pale notherners biggrin), pod, ....can't figure out if Friendzone gets it.....Hound will go, and Davos. Half the hangers on to go I reckon.

oooo, and Bronn...will he pop up mid battle?

best episode for me so far, really got tension going for battle, Maisie strip was awkward and not really enjoyable but that is part of appeal, interacts with all emotions, good and bad.

not sure how safe crypt is with all dead and all. All characters pretty much can die now.

it got back to the people talking which is what makes it so good, not just magic and dragons.

I reckon Arya is going to take out the ice dragon with the dragonglass spear and die in the process.
