He looks bigger. But it would be far better to reduce Godzilla.Kong isn't new to size manipulation, in the 1933 original they had to scale him up to see him on the building, then they scaled him back down for different shots.
There is evidence of an ape that was one third the size of Kong.

I'd posted in the films i watched this week thread as i didn't know this was here but basically.. it's a big budget B movie, 70s soundtrack is great, you can see what's happening in the monster fights, unlike a Michael Bay Transformers fight. I've seen it mentioned a few times, but it's like a Doug McLure monster film with bits of a Vietnam film in it. I haven't seen the Peter Jackson film, but it's much much better than the 1976 Jeff Bridges film that was on TV lastnight.
