St Elwick's Neighbourhood Association Newsletter Podcast” Mike Wozniak (and friends) just brilliantly funny.
Thanks for that. Just spent all afternoon on the first few episodes. I'll never look at natterjack toads in the same way again. There's a bit of Beef & Dairy in there. New favourite, I reckon.

Enjoying Jason Plato’s “Fuelling Around”, this week with a very entertaining Chris Harris and a discussion of ‘that’ PH thread.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I hadn’t heard Plato had a podcast.Great to be reminded of that Plato thread, pure PH gold.
I’d love to see a Top Gear ‘After Dark’ with Plato/Harris/Tiff - something you’d definitely need to shield your children from
Couldn’t see any mention of this, but for those missing Gossipmongers have a search for Chatabix.
It’s David and Joe doing a daily podcast, however it is utterly poor quality in all areas! Content, professionalism, sound quality, everything, and they simply cannot be bothered half the time.
However, the key to it is that they relish in just how crap it is, and are always amazed at how anyone enjoys it.
Constant moaning.
Some episodes are barely listenable, but that’s what makes it so daft and popular!

Bring Back V10's has released an episode on Montoya at Williams, Jonathan Williams is speaking on it.
I like the look of that. Cheers. I've just started listening to Gas it Out. Neil Hodgson and Gavin Emmet host the podcast talking predominantly about MotoGP but other motorcycle racing stuff too. The episode with John Hopkins is very good.

Gas It Out (Gavin Emmet / Neil Hodgson) did some good stuff through lockdown. Not so much recently.

Maybe to re-up, but Caliphate is very good [a good book for the deeper history of ME I'd rec'd is Black Wave by Kim Ghattas]
Russell Brand has been mentioned, some of his youtube stuff is quite good, he's yo-yoed in my esteem for a while but the present mellower version is is good I reckon.
And Tim Harford - he's added quite a few to Cautionary Tales all of which are entertaining, informative and illuminating.

Just a note to mention that Caliphate was subsequently disgraced for a false-reporting scandal. Which was sad, because it was good. Russell Brand has been mentioned, some of his youtube stuff is quite good, he's yo-yoed in my esteem for a while but the present mellower version is is good I reckon.

Gossipmongers went down the drain when they dropped Poppy unceremoniously; the second run was no where near as good as the original, with David and Joe just fake uncontrollably laughing at one another. Shame as there were still a few gems of stories (real or not) but I gave up on the second run after 3-4 episodes. Whole thing put me off giving Chatabix a try tbh. It’s David and Joe doing a daily podcast, however it is utterly poor quality in all areas! Started listening to Wolf & Owl a few months ago; Tom Davis and Romesh Ranganathan chatting st twice a week. Immensely entertaining, especially when Romesh breaks down laughing at something Tom says.

I used to hate the constant laughing on Gossipmongers but then they pied Polly off and I jacked it in anyway. Somehow I don't mind the laughing on Smith & Sniff but I think it's probably because it's very much my kind of humour so I'm usually laughing along with it. Every single episode has me in stitches.
I've popped up a few times on this thread and recommended Have a Word with Adam Rowe & Dan Nightingale but I don't think anyone has said they've tried it so I'll give it another plug. Rowe is the better-known comedian but Nightingale has been on the circuit for a lot longer and for me is the wittier of the two. Very much the straight man in the duo but some of his contributions are brilliant.

Completely agree about Gossipmongers, I stopped listening after they behaved like d*cks towards Poppy. Going by the iTunes reviews after that, I didn’t miss anything.Started listening to Wolf & Owl a few months ago; Tom David and Romesh Ranganathan chatting st twice a week. Wolf & Owl is a good one, funny and also quite heart-warming in places - they make a great pairing and you can absolutely hear who good friends they are.
