The Intercooler with Andrew Frankel and Dan Prosser is excellent. For me, it's up there with Collecting Cars.

I think this has been discussed before, I find it incredibly poor.

I'm curious why you think that. A lot of the car podcasts follow the Top Gear "entertainment first" model, but I prefer to listen to real opinions about cars. Most people clearly want what Top Gear offers. I can't bear it.

Apart from it being one rather big advert for their app (understandable) when they talk about F1, which they do fairly often they expose themselves as being completely uneducated about it.

Successful podcasts advertise, whether that's for beds, anti-virus programmes, or other podcasts, because there's no other way to get paid. I can forgive errors on F1 (although I can't recall any) because the rest of the content is excellent. I understand you don't like it.

I've recently been enjoying "Giles Coren has no idea" - the premise is that he chats with his wife to find a subject for his weekly Times column.

But it's just two people rambling on about whatever's been causing them stress that week. It's good, generally light-hearted fun.

It would have to be 'Giles Coren does a stunning job of being nothing like Giles Coren' for me to enjoy that! smile

For fiction fans, John Dryden's adaption of The Handmaid's Tale is available as a podcast and it's excellent. I couldn't face the TV version having read the book, but it's great audio.

Just a heads-up if any have fallen asleep waiting for it- Dan Carling's Hardcore History released Supernova in the East part VI recently and it's (predictably) great!

I don’t even have young kids and really enjoyed it. I used to listen to it in the car on the school run (when schools were open) and my kids even liked it.

I’m also still listening to the high performance podcast with Jake Humphrey which is a great podcast where they interview high performers in their varied fields each week.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned but Talking Sopranos is very entertaining for fans of the show.

yes

Love it

I'm currently rewatching Sopranos in pace with the podcast so it makes it even more enjoyable with the insight from Christoper & Bobby.

To things have become very apparent - Michael Imperioli - very interesting & talented guy - although I hated Christopher, and Steve Schirripa needs to back off-the-mic!!

Thanks. I don't follow the game but am interested in its finances. Will give it a try.
