I believe this is being released on 2nd April, but some places are saying 3rd April?

If I recall rightly, Spectre was released on the same evening that they had the Royal premiere, so unlike with Star wars/Avengers there was no "midnight screening" but they instead started showing it at something like 8.05pm with the RP starting at 8pm, so they got to see it first?

Or maybe I'm wrong, But I really hope its the 2nd otherwise I have no time to see no time to die before about the 9th, and I'm not sure I can wait that long

Saw somewhere that the vehicles in that were “standard except for roll cages and a strengthened belly pan”
Not very good airbags then if it can be driven away after turning turtle.

That's in 595Heaven's "reader's cars" thread. Perhaps there are some other subtle mods to the cars for the purposes of the stunt?

D’you think? I struggle to believe a modern large SUV can roll over and then simply drive away. Pretty sure it’ll have a crash sensor/fuel cut off in addition to a couple of thousand air bags.

Love the ejection port for the shell casings! biggrin

But why are they smashing the content out now, a good 8 weeks before release?

It’s due out on April 2nd.
As of this weekend that’s a month away.
Normal PR/marketing time line.
Expect telly adverts and posters on buses next...

That isn't a very good 8 weeks at all then!

I am very keen to see this. Local cinema haven't been given the nod from their distributors yet as to when they can start advertising it or taking bookings though

I'm pessimistic about this new film, but at least going in with low expectations could be a benefit. If the script is good then that's most of the battle won.

The quality of actors and crew is a high standard, at least.

I'll probably see it simply for Ana de Armas cloud9

Although, given that I still haven't got round to watching Spectre yet, I may wait for it to come out on Bluray. I don't really like going to the cinema much.

That is my primary reason too.

Her surname means 'of guns/weapons' literally in Spanish but perhaps it has a different meaning or is a stage name.

Loved her in BR 2049.

I've booked tickets for the opening night, but unsure if it will actually be prudent to go and sit in a crowded room by the time it rolls around.
