A chap I know sold his garage but still came back at least once a day as he was the only one registered to cover the MOTs.

Bit of over-exaggerrated drama. There's a stag's head on the wall so "he could be a hunter and have guns". OK, or he could have bought the head in a junk shop.

Turns out he's got a large collection of taxidermy. Could fetch big bucks. I was wrong, but why automatically assume he's a big-game hunter?
Turns out I was really wrong. He had 8 firearms on his property. Who needs 8 ?

Collectors do biggrin I know someone who has around a hundred, though some are air weapons. Having said that, one can get 50 calibre air weapons these days. yikes

Probably the right course of action, for all they knew he could have had one pointed at the door or his mouth. Whilst we never know the full circumstances behind the writ, it was impossible not to feel empathy for him as the goods he needed to run his business got taken away.

Here is a little triva for you. The person that does all the colour grading on Top Gear is the same person that does this show.

I fully sympathise with ex-Army who served in Afghanistan and suffer from their experiences there, but all the same I couldn't help thinking WTF? He ran screaming like a little girl. Makes me wonder just what happened to him during his "tour" - maybe some really close calls which give him nightmares at night? His mate wasn't any better. Ex-prison officer. What we hear about life inside these days, surely he's seen worse than that.

I have a suspicion it wasn't an exploding battery charger, the excuse given by the garage man. Not sure if it was actually a firearm, but it could have been some kind of exploding device, like a bird-scarer. There was definitely a red flash in the background, and the noise of an explosion.

As soon as I saw who was doing the follow-up visit, I knew things wouldd get settled. Those old guys know the ropes inside out, and don't take any sh*t.. Lo and behold, they did what should have been done in the first place - take a couple of cars.

I was under the impression that the enforcement guys jumped to a premature conclusion. The police didn't take the matter further, so they must have been satisfied that there had been a misunderstanding. Mind you, the "bang" had its intended result - they scarpered.

Sounded like a bird scarer. Ive let one of these off in the garden before - they are ridiculously loud!!
But you dont know how people are going to react and that nutter garage owner did say something on the lines of he was getting a weapon.
This is one of my favourite shows on tv!

Bird-scarers were popular amoingst teenagers when I was a lad. I know of an incident when the entire bottom half of a front door was blown off (could well have been rotten wood) amidst much laughing and "FU*K! RUUUNNNN!!!!!". They do indeed make much noise.

It's amazing how many business owners come up with the old chestnut "it's been sold, we're the new owners". Never works. Paul Bohill and Steve Pinner make for really good TV. They make the other "agents" look like thugs and/or amateurs. Experience seems to really count in that business - they've seen it all, heard it all, just don't take any nonsense from anyone, and behave like gents most of the time.

Yes, Paul is mega calm and collective. A true pro.
That silly 21 year old with loads of parking fines saying you may as well take goods! Sounded like he needed a slap.

His mum looked the type who'd do just that! Good on her. £40k a year income and can't bother to pay to park his car - total twunt. I hope his family got the cost back from him.

Never ceases to amaze me how a small debt isn't paid and then gets out of hand. Do they really think the claimant is going to write it off? That freehold/leasehold property company is typical - they paid the whole bill with no problem, but the sum could have been so much less if they had paid it on time in the first place. Bonkers.

The £1800 from that garage was probably the most crazy. Took away an Audi & Mini with no keys, so obviously a low auction price. Pair of them made about £4k odd. If he had paid up he could of sold them and made some profit.

The two lads who owned / ran the Garage looked twitchy as hell, eyes darting around, couldn't stay still... very odd.
