No loss if it is gone.

Last nights Top Gear was 100 times better than any episode of TGT.

I havent watched any grand tour episode more than once.

Jesus Christ.

It's not a binary choice you know, no reason why both shouldn't continue.

I notice even TG last night didn't bother with the 'Star' segment. Wasn't missed in our household.

Good episode of TG I thought (if you ignore them wrecking an RX7 that looked to be in bloody good nick) - MLB is carrying that show. His chemistry with is improving all the time as well and as I like CH and consider him to be a fantastic driver, I am glad that is the case.

RR - well for me, he could go the way of the (thankfully nowhere to be seen on the main TG these days) incredibly annoying Sabine. Just something about the lad feels like he is trying a little too hard to be..I dunno...er...cool??
Oh "cool" eh? scratchchin

I love the way people are vigorously pointing out that three series is all they were contracted to do how it doesn't mean "the end" and the papers are just printing what everyone knew already.

What's that big river through Egypt again?
Amazon?
The Nile?

What's the biggest bird beginning with P?

A whoosh pterodactyl is in order here I think.

On the contrary, I think if they were going to announce they were stopping, they'd do it post season 3. I suspect what's come out in the press over the last few days was just to force their hand.
They now it’s the press either

A) being stupid and not realising a contract soling tomand end is not being cancelled and new contracts can be drawn.
B) know that anyway just want to post bulst stories.

I know, right!? My kids tell me I'm not cool, so perhaps I am the wrong person to comment. wink

That's nice. The last series of TG was so appalling I haven't even bothered with this one yet. Tends to be my strategy with shows I dint like.

I've realised that I still haven't watched the Mozambique Special yet. It aired nearly a month ago, I think, and as yet, i've not rushed to it.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it but the fact it is available whenever I want means it is no longer the essential viewing I considered it to be, which wasn't the case in the past.

Just trying to catch it back up. Think I am up to episode 8 (Namibia). Was ok, enjoyed most of it. I would prefer if it was a little less scripted but I enjoy it for what it is, a car programme which is entertaining.

Amazon not renewing for a 4th season wouldn't be technically "cancelled" though.

Much like so many fanbois point out that Clarkson wasn't "fired" but didn't have his contract renewed. As if it somehow makes it different. He had to leave the company he worked for.

We'll all have seen people quit rather than be fired in our jobs

I guess if there IS a 4th series in due course that would be proof...

Nobody on the outside knows. It's all speculation until there's an official announcement.

You could also say that Lewis Hamilton will retire at the end of this season because he hasn't yet renewed his contract with Mercedes.
