wow - even Hammond is looking pregnant now!
Anyway - I spied an X1/9 in there, so I'll come back when it airs to tell you 'I had one of them'.

And a Gamma Coupe, one of my all-time favourite cars. Prices were already moving up and now with it in TGT they will move even more.

Added rarity value after TGT trash one of the few that was left?

Its quite possibly the last of the TGT series so best make the most of it and lets face it they have really squeezed everything they could have out of it.

Richard's very good at those articles, very witty.

His YouTube channel with Jonny Smith is brilliant.

Richard? Do you mean Richard Hammond? You can't come on Pistonheads saying anything nice about Richard Hammond! Are you new here or something?

Personally I think Richard Hammond is just as good as the other 2 and I want to be Jeremy Clarkson when I grow up.

He doesn't. He means Richard the Sniff Petrol chappy.

When him and Smith come on, the TV goes off though.

He means Richard Porter. One time Top Gear script editor (you know, when it started becoming Last of the Summer Wine) Then jumped ship to write for Amazon. Presumably being quite happy to edit that Live Die Repeat episode.

Porter, as you may or may not know also owns SniffPetrol. A site that I really liked when it first started. Then when the same old, same old, jokes over and over, I stopped bothering with it. Disappeared up it's own arse. We know it's not fun to spend time in the company of people who think their hilarious or cutting edge when they simply aren't.

An early Omen for what was to become all shows he's involved in. It's no surprise that him and Johnny Smith's YouTube output is fairly dreary as well.

Witness the first 2mins of this. (If you can)

But hey, maybe TGTS03 will be a resurgence. Time will tell.

Nice of him to turn the Grand Tour thread into a satirical article for us smile

I know.

But ironically, if you watch his G63 vid I linked above, him and Smith get quite animated and comment on a D reg Espace FFS! laugh

So maybe he's at that end of the spectrum compared to the rest of us. Perhaps HE'S the guy who wants William Woolard back talking about litres of boot space. An inside man no less! eek

Bugger I was just looking at these again as they are in my short list of cars I’ve fancied for ever.
Seems that some mechanical parts are hard to come by now and the engines problematic.
With TGT adding £££££ to the few left, that’s probably knocked that little idea in the head.

Back in the days of Motor, in the 70s, the late George Bishop had a Gamma as a staff car. Even when new, his running reports were a woeful and constant tale of unreliability and pain. Needless to say, you could buy cheaper and more reliable 6 cylinders for the price of the Gamma.
