I found it really rather boring - might be due to my lack of enthusiasm for American muscle cars more than anything though.
now you see to me this was possibly one of the best of the "TGT" - loved the muscle cars, but then they really are my thing. Surprised that the Demon was 'quietest' I also enjoyed today’s episode, a definite return to form. I heard JC saying on R2 today it is the last series with a studio and the next series is road trips only. I wonder if the natural end is in sight for the show and they are simply trying to make the last few series the best they possibly can?

They have been doing it for the past twenty or so years, no longer early to mid 30’s they are now really getting on (relatively speaking). However with AMG 1, vallerie Aston to come and then the dawn or mass move to electric cars the noise part will simply go. Also for street cars the performances are getting so strong now and given a 60mph limit frankly anything with 140bhp or more is plenty good enough - slug it out in a 600bhp saloon and your at 150mph literally before you realise it. 30-60 is a second or so unless you do the pull in the highest gear. Electric will make it even worse.
Enjoy cars while we can break speed limits while we can do burnouts while we can throw a rod because it’s cool when it goes pop and wets the floor

At last, they finally found their stride again, proper Top Gear is back!
This! Absolutely. They've got their mojo back. That episode had everything - visually stunning, funny, crafted, and amazing cars!
I've missed that level of quality from these three and I will miss it again when it is gone.
"England Cricket Captain" - LOL!

Enjoyed that. Senna is a weapon, but it’s also bloody ugly.
It does just show how subjective looks are, the Senna is the only McLaren that I actually like the look of. I think all the other McLaren models look bland/not particularly striking. I found the Senna a nice pleasant change. cerb4.5lee said:

I found the Senna a nice pleasant change. The thing I didn't like about the Senna piece is that he was never at any point going especially fast. I know Thruxton well and have driven it many times, and he was going round it at a snails pace (obviously for tracking shots etc) and I didn't feel like they had filmed anything showing it going at maximum attack.
(I'm talking about the circuit not the runway, just to clarify)

The brief in car footage showed the true pace. (I'm talking about the circuit not the runway, just to clarify)
