Enjoyed that. Senna is a weapon, but it’s also bloody ugly.
It does just show how subjective looks are, the Senna is the only McLaren that I actually like the look of. I think all the other McLaren models look bland/not particularly striking. I found the Senna a nice pleasant change. Adam B said:

"England Cricket Captain" - LOL!
Can someone explain that joke - Went straight over my head
Conversely, an ex-England cricket captain could take a job presenting a car show.....

Definitely the best one they’ve done, if this continues then they’ve found their stride, just as it moves to specials only.
The Mustang was the o lay car that made sense for me, as it was actually useable in real life compared to one that runs on unobtanium liquid gold and the other needed rebuilding to do the really silly stuff.
Clarkson and May might not care about their appearance, but their health should be something they consider. Both are in serious need of some moderation in their lives. I speak as an ex-smoker who ballooned to 16 stone and is now struggling to shed it, despite cycling 20-30 miles daily.
For those of you slating Detroit, it’s not all crumbling factories. It has huge problems, but the sheer size of the city means large swathes can effectively be abandoned and a new bit developed. We struggle with that concept as a small island.
I did chuckle listening to Clarkson’s rant about the urban farming bit and thought how many PHers worship at his altar. He k own he’s a parody of what he once was, many on Ph, especially in NP&E seem to act like that as a badge of honour.
Yeah, right in the center, Detroit is quite nice. Does get a bit ropey as you go outwards though. But as you say, they just have acres of space. The airport, for example, is just one long building! With a monorail that goes down a straight track from one end to the other. Our airports are contorted and folded around themselves to fit all the gates in and use the least space. No need for that out there, just build it as wide and as long as you need it.The Mustang was the o lay car that made sense for me, as it was actually useable in real life compared to one that runs on unobtanium liquid gold and the other needed rebuilding to do the really silly stuff.

Would be nice if they restored or used old buildings like the Michigan Grand Central. But, might not be viable if full of asbestos etc.
If anyone ever gets chance to go to Detroit, get down to the Henry ford museum. It’s absolutely superb.
Sensible isn't the point, but the Demon needed the ethanol along with the crate of stuff for its drag race mode, and the Camaro needed ethanol all the time. So it's the Mustang for me if I was being sensible, and the Demon for the supercharger noise, and leave the drag race stuff in the box.
Just been through the episode again on the Xbox game, no Senna in the game for TV reasons, so you drive the 720S from the last series with Hammond.

It’s good to have these three back.
The humours feels right, and they have genuine depth of friendship. That easily seen.
Such a well produced programme. The subliminal cuts of Ayrton Senna were a cracking add. And in that subject, great car, I just would want to be in it when I crashed it. Had the look of being about as strong as a bond bug.
Flimsy.
On the inevitable Derby Kelly issue
They’re in USA. I bet they stuffed their boats.
However, Jezza had the profile of Peter Griffin in a few shot.
James genuinely looked as if he had congested heart failure, his face drawn grey and tired.

It’s a dangerous time.
And medicine I should also heed.

The Senna looks like a radio controlled model. It just seems to sit too high for the type of car it is. I'd expect it to drop an inch for track like the Ford GT.
Yeah...McLaren don’t have clue how to setup a suspension. LOLGassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
