The Grand Tour

Doesn't that depend on what else you have or haven't watched already, whether you want to watch them more or less than GT and on whether they're things you watch as a couple / family, or things that no-one else likes?
I may well have watched everything else I wanted to watch & if not, my partner wanted to watch together.
On that basis, it may well be the best thing available for me, yes?
Not sure if you are allowed a personal opinion on here.I may well have watched everything else I wanted to watch & if not, my partner wanted to watch together.

I have Netflix, Amazon Prime, BT, SKY and TGT is at present the only thing I look forward to.
Watched them back to back and found it predictable but harmless and enjoyable.
It may appeal to a slightly older audience who are not so easily offended, on behalf of other people so long may the non-PC jokes continue.
I used to criticise the dying days of old TG but, since then, we have seen a whole generation of sh*t TV like Strictly, Dancing on Ice, Well Past Its Sell By date factor and Britain is Talentless or Bake Off, not to mention utter crap like Naked Attraction. It's largely all about "celebs" who aren't, utter dross and self-interested egos.
So, from that point of view, though it is "more of the same recipe", it has actually elevated itself and looks better. I also appreciate that the cock jokes are more visual than unnecessarily spoken. Nice to see the scenery too and what is an undoubted love of the cars they drive. It reminds me of when I was young and me and a friend wanted to drive our crappy old cars round the world but never had the funds to do so.
It's also a handy reminder that the world is smaller, more crowded and often a lot less appealing than you might imagine, in parts.
So while these did not approach the greatness of the first episode, it was still good viewing.

Not sure what I'm 'supposed' to post here, but I'm really enjoying this season as I have the last two.
After a week of stress and hard work, it's lovely to watch some laddish banter with cars that's easy on the head. The formula works, don't try and fix it. Look at the dog's breakfast that Top Gear has become. And for those of you saying they prefer Top Gear now, you are very much in the minority, the viewing figures say so.

What i can't understand is that people who constantly find fault & ridicule this show still continue to watch it .
If i don't like a programme i don't watch it. Each to their own i guess.
Is the perfect metaphor for PH. I can just imagine posters rushing to watch it on release day and rubbing their hands together throughout while they think of witty put-downs.If i don't like a programme i don't watch it. Each to their own i guess.
I've watched both parts on Prime and I enjoyed it. Life is far too short to spend it dissecting a simple entertainment TV show.

I asked the same question a while ago, as did another chapIf i don't like a programme i don't watch it. Each to their own i guess.

Wtf are you watching for then?
I asked similar and got this terse response. I agree that I’ve got no idea why someone would watch something they clearly don’t enjoy just to come onto a thread to complain about not liking it. El stovey said:
Since the beginning of this thread, people have complained about the show.
You know you’re going to read complaints on this thread, why do you still read it?

It's like the man who was asked 'tell me about your worst ever blowjob' he replied 'it was fking brilliant!'If i don't like a programme i don't watch it. Each to their own i guess.
This is the thing, we all (or most of us) love cars, and have enjoyed much of TG and/or TGT. We know how good they can be, so if they're not up to scratch then we feel a little peeved. That said, like the blowjob with a little bit of teeth slip, it's still good fun, so we'll go back.

We all know what we are going to get , i personally liked this episode because i prefer the specials to the tent talk stuff.
As i said each to their own,
