Does anybody else have an issue with the stream not playing in 4k? My stream will only ever get to 1080p, yet every other show that has a 4k stream is perfectly content to play in 4k.

I'm watching part 1 right now and it's like pulling teeth. Utterly tedious, and the gay jokes are pathetic. The drug references are pretty weak too, and the less said about the donkey bothering the better.

Hammond's peril on the bridge did look genuine. As did May throwing a stone at Clarkson's windscreen. But it was just awkward rather than entertaining.

All very predictable and tired.
In your opinion .

Obviously. rolleyes

I kind of thought that was implied. I didn't realise that every time I expressed an opinion I had to prefix it with "In my opinion..."

If you had been watching the three Amigos for sometime now its surprising people don't know exactly what is to come in each show.
If you want new and innovative your not going to get it with TGT. Part of the charm is we do know what to expect and they very rarely miss the chance to be "cheeky"

If i don't like a programme i don't watch it. Each to their own i guess.
Is the perfect metaphor for PH. I can just imagine posters rushing to watch it on release day and rubbing their hands together throughout while they think of witty put-downs.

I've watched both parts on Prime and I enjoyed it. Life is far too short to spend it dissecting a simple entertainment TV show.
What i can't understand is that people who constantly find fault with this thraed still continue to read it .

If i don't like a thread i don't read it. Each to their own i guess.

Seriously you KNOW this thread has people complaining about the show and making negative comments, if you don’t like it - don’t read it.

Well, I thoroughly enjoyed episode 2. First part wasn't as good but still enjoyable, but the 2nd parter was well worth watching.

Same here, enjoyed both Columbia specials but the 2nd half was better that the 1st.

Laughed at the bit where Hammond was taking photographs of the dead bird while May and some of the crew were putting the Panda back on its wheels in the background.

Well I enjoyed it, but im not an IT nerd who needs to over analyse everything in the world and get offended by non PC jokes and adult humour.

And yes TGT is the best show on TV at the moment IMO.

I should probably clarify my previous post to add that I enjoyed the the first episode immensely. And, also, as others said, the 2nd part of the special was much better than the 1st part.

I think most people agree that it wasn't their best Special, though.

Just seen the trailer for TG. Looks good apart from the screeching harridan spectre of Sabine. Can't stick her...

That was great. Hummingbirds was sweet, obviously some kind of tourist attraction, but a great experience.

another one for the humming birds, genuine WOW moment from Mrs Iroc and me, I also liked the ridiculousness of the monster-truck and the Jeep. All that said I think I'd be a lot happier if I never have to see Clarkson's legs again eek

There's a fair bit of contradiction to your earlier post CC, namely -

I'm watching part 1 right now and it's like pulling teeth. Utterly tedious, and the gay jokes are pathetic. The drug references are pretty weak too, and the less said about the donkey bothering the better.

Hammond's peril on the bridge did look genuine. As did May throwing a stone at Clarkson's windscreen. But it was just awkward rather than entertaining.

The P1 gay jokes were extremely lame, and only there as a 'the BBC wouldn't let us say this' dig. P2 was better, much better, and I agree, other specials were better (although some worse, EG India)

My 12yo son pointed out that the trailer seemed to have a different piece of Hammond bridge peril, suggesting more than 1 “genuinely frightening” crossing...

MKI Panda 4x4 back on my bucket list though.
When you find one drop me a line. I have a pair of rust free doors in my garage (you'll need them)

I bought them for my Mk1 Panda, and then a lorry drove into the car and wrote it off before I could fit them.
